Location is very good. The room was nice and villa-like, but it's a shame that the WiFi won't work this time. There was Wi-Fi only in the main lobby, but I couldn't connect.Although the scenery was very nice, the facilities were a waste.

I stayed in a log house for the first time in 30 years. As expected, the equipment is aging, but the surrounding scenery remains unchanged (though the river was quite rough in some parts, perhaps due to heavy rain), and it is a quiet and nice place full of nature. There was a restaurant at that time.I had a Western dish using yamame trout. This time we had a delicious Yamame Gozen at Enoha's house.Breakfast was also delicious. If you want to enjoy Yamame cuisine and nature, please come here. Also I want to go.

I stayed there a long time ago. The bathroom had a Western-style feel from the early Showa era and was very nice! However, there was a sign saying to close the bottle because centipedes will come out.In fact, even though it was May, there was a large centipede in the lobby. However, overall it was a very nice place.I want to go again.

This hotel is located in the mountains of Gokase. It is a quiet place where you can only hear the sound of the flowing river and the chirping of birds. We stayed in a log house. The log house was quite old and had some gaps. But the food was so delicious that I thought it was okay.We had some yamame trout grown by the husband. The fresh yamame sashimi was crunchy and shiny, and the golden salmon roe was chewy and delicious♪♪♪I would like to go again to try the Yamame cuisine.

The facility may be crowded with skiers in the winter, but it's a little-known place to stay in the summer. The river running through the premises is perfect for playing in the water. It probably feels about 10 degrees cooler than the flatlands.

Stayed for one night before Obon. This is a lodge type room. The kids were very happy when we decided to make a maisonette type room and it had a nice loft. The height of the loft is over 2 meters, so you may want to avoid bringing small children with you. Although it is a unit bath, the bathtub and floor are large. There is a mysterious bathroom chair and bathtub. As other reviews have said, the rice, which is mainly made with yamame trout, is delicious! Not only the salt-grilled yamame trout but also the miso soup is made with fish stock. This may have been due to the cloudy weather, but Gokase Town itself is located at a high altitude, so it was cool even in midsummer, and it was still cold in the morning even without air conditioning. A river flows in front of the lodge and you can always hear the sound of the river. It became a good memory of my summer vacation. There are no alcohol vending machines and there are no shops nearby, so it might be a good idea to buy some before checking in.Compatible with credit guard.

Anyway, the rice is the best. That alone is worth the stay. The Yamame shabu-shabu will take your breath away. It's so fresh that you can even eat it as sashimi, so you only need to shabu-shabu it for less than 1 second. Be careful not to soak it in hot water for longer than that, as the taste will change. The rooms are separate and have a great atmosphere. However, please be sure to fully understand that you are deep in the mountains before staying there. It's especially a cottage type room, but depending on the season, insects of all sizes can invade, so I don't think people who are sensitive to insects would want to sleep there. There's nothing I can do about this.
