2024.10.13 Stayed for the first time in 20 years.I heard that the couple from back then are doing it, so I guess you could call it a reunion for the first time in 20 years.20 years ago, I only had contact with my mother. This time it was 10,000 yen including two meals. The dinner was very luxurious, including shrimp and sashimi, and was worth 10,000 yen.The room is also large. It was charming that the light bulb was making a vague sound. The toilet is old and the wash basin is from the Showa era.But that's okay. The bathroom is spacious, there is a TV, and there is an air conditioner.Anything goes.Horses are also walking nearby. You can also see the sea from the window. There are dome-shaped accommodations nearby,I like the national dormitory.Due to the age, the number of people is limited. It's okay to stay overnight without meals so you don't overdo it.I want you to stay healthy forever. However, don't overdo it.If by any chance they close, please let me know on the website or somewhere, and I will come back to stay there again.Thank you for your support. And thank you very much.I stayed here in 2004 while touring around Kyushu by motorcycle. A heartwarming inn surrounded by nature, close to the cape. The room is a Japanese-style room, and although it is not large, it is spacious enough.I would like to stay there again.

The location is perfect, and you can see the starry sky in the middle of the night while lying down. Like camping. The aging of the building is a bit worrying, but I want to support the elderly owner who is working hard to run the property. There are glamping facilities and cafes next door, so younger people might want to go there, but we, a middle-aged couple, were able to relax and enjoy our stay.Toothbrushes were provided as amenities.Only face towels are available. There is one day trip hot spring about 20 minutes away by car. When you check in, you will be asked when you want to take a bath, so if you are planning to go to a hot spring, it is better to let them know in advance. The meals are simple and delicious, prepared by the owner himself. The shrimp and sashimi were especially delicious. When it comes to luxury, I think Wi-Fi is necessary in this day and age.

I thought the location would be perfect since it has been a national lodging house since the Showa era, but it was as expected. There were many things that reminded me of the Showa era, which made me feel nostalgic. It seemed like it was a couple working together, but I felt they were very personable. It was my first time to have ``Waraji Shrimp'' for dinner, but it was more flavorful than Ise shrimp. I stayed at this inn because it was the closest to the Toimisaki Lighthouse, one of the 16 lighthouses that can be climbed nationwide.

This is a Showa era inn run by an elderly couple. When I first made the reservation, it was 7,200 yen for one night and breakfast only, but when I reconfirmed a week before my stay, I was told that dinner could be prepared. 9500 yen including 2 meals. Reservations can only be made by phone or fax. Other information for your reference:- No Wifi- The tourist exchange center Pakarapaka is located 2 minutes walk away and Wifi is available.- Japanese-style rooms are private rooms with locks, toilets, washrooms, and baths are shared.- The room includes 2 face towels, a yukata, a short coat, a TV, a tea set (hot water in the pot), a small mirror, 4 hangers, and a set of bedding.- Air conditioner is new- There are quite a few steps at the entrance to the toilet and washroom, so be careful where you step.- The bathtub in the bathroom is large and has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap, and there is a rotating system. It seems that there were originally a large number of rooms, but currently only 5 rooms are in operation. On the day I stayed, there was another group, making a total of 3 guests. I think it would have been scary to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night if I was alone. The common areas were old and dark, but the rooms and bedding were clean and comfortable. On the first day, we had to go to Komatsugaoka to see the horses, but the next morning they came right next to our inn.

It was a good stay. The building is quite old, but there are lots of old horse photos and ornaments, and I felt the history and love for horses. The bath was spacious and comfortable. I stayed without meals, but at night I could smell the delicious smell of dinner...I regret that I should have included meals! The next morning, horses were grazing right next to the inn.

This is the first time I've ever been to a national lodging where my reservation was canceled without permission and I couldn't answer my phone calls.

I stayed here for the first time on my trip to Miyazaki. The building is exactly as it was built in the middle of the Showa era.Toilets, washrooms, and baths are shared, and there is no concept of barrier-free access, which is common these days, and there are many steps in the water facilities. However, the cleaning was thorough and it didn't feel dirty. The day I stayed happened to be a Friday, so there were only two groups of guests, so I ended up staying in a corner room at the very back of the second floor. When I entered the room, it was the best room with the best ocean view in this inn.The bathroom was about 1.5 times the size of a regular home bath, so it was spacious and relaxing. The food was surprisingly delicious considering the cost of this stay.At night, when I opened the window and looked outside, I saw a sky full of stars and the occasional light from the lighthouse, which, combined with the cool breeze from the sea, felt very pleasant. At the time of check-out, you will receive a 50% discount on your accommodation fee if you receive the 3rd dose of the corona vaccine and a light is provided, as well as a 4,000 yen Jimo Miya Tabi coupon issued by Miyazaki Prefecture (can only be used at stores in Miyazaki Prefecture) and a coupon issued by Kushima City. I received a 3,000 yen coupon (can only be used at stores in Kushima City) and felt like I had gotten a great deal.(It is recommended that you check the coupon before staying.)
