It's a very good campsite. The night sky was very beautiful without clouds.The manager is also friendly and easy to talk to. There are showers, but they are currently under construction and have limited hours, but if you drive toward Kumamoto Prefecture (by car), you will find Yumoto Onsen. The toilet was also very clean and very clean. There is also a power supply site.Unfortunately, it seems that it is not open during the winter.

At an altitude of about 900m, mornings and evenings are cool even in midsummer, and if it's sunny you can enjoy a wonderful starry sky.Although the prices are low, the facilities in the sanitary building are well-equipped and kept clean.The manager was so kind that I went there two years in a row, and I'm sure I'll be returning next year as well.There are auto, free and bungalows, so families can enjoy it as well.Due to road expansion work and the effects of the disaster, there are sections that are closed from the Kumamoto area during certain hours, and completely closed from the Miyazaki area, so it is necessary to check the road conditions in advance.

The road to the campsite was an adventure, but it turned out to be a great campsite!It was well maintained from top to bottom and I felt very comfortable using it.The manager was a very friendly and nice person who cleaned and maintained the premises from morning until night.It may have been timing, but I used the toilet, shower, and kitchen, and I didn't see a single insect. It's well taken care of!Autosite is an old-fashioned campsite, so it might be a little cramped if you have a large tent. I think it would be a good idea to check with the administrator.You cannot park your car next to the free site, but you can get close to it when loading, so I don't think it will be any inconvenience.I will go again!

This is my third time camping alone on July 23, 2020. It's a highland campsite at an altitude of 900 m, and it's a quiet and comfortable place. The owner was a quiet and kind person, and the toilet was a modern Western-style toilet. Good environment and facilities. ...O type

I stayed here for 2 nights before Obon. Even though it was midsummer, it was cold at night. It's very comfortable and easy to spend time in.The manager was a very bright, friendly and nice person. After I checked in, they called me by name the whole time, and the customer service was just like that of a hotel.It seems to be an old campsite, but the facilities are very well maintained and comfortable.The shower room is new and you can use it as much as you like until checkout. The cost is 200 yen per person per night.Unfortunately, because we are deep in the mountains, the water supply is weak and although it is not crowded, on the first night we ran out of water and could not wash the dishes or take a shower.Although the sight is fluffy, we recommend forged pegs because they hit the stone pavement below and are difficult to get stuck in. The included iron pegs are bendable. Aluminum pegs can break if done improperly.The site with power supply is right next to the cooking building, but it is very small. Large tents may be tough.However, it is a campsite that I would like to visit again.

I used it during Golden Week. There are almost no insects. The toilet is public toilet level, Japanese style. It's been thoroughly cleaned. The venue is surprisingly spacious. However, if you play music or make noise at night, it will echo next door. There is a river nearby, but it is no longer accessible. There is only one rice cooker. At first, the manager seemed like it had been a while since he had talked to a human, but he was a nice person. The price is also cheap as it costs less than 1,500 yen for one tent. Although it is far from town and some roads are quite narrow, it is recommended for long weekends or touring.

I used it during a motorcycle trip. Although the road was too tight to be called a national highway, it was a cool campsite in the mountains with open skies. The grass at the site is nice and fluffy, but I was concerned that the pegs were difficult to use and there were extremely few growing trees (no shade). There are no stores nearby where you can buy ingredients, so be sure to shop early when passing through towns along the way, and be careful during the cold months as there are only showers available. The manager was kind and made me feel comfortable even when I walked in.

It's not that big, but it's very well maintained. Although the campsite is in a mountainous area, the tent sites are level. Cars and bikes are allowed. The manager lives in and will accommodate late check-ins. If you can't buy ingredients from the national highway at the foot of the mountain, you'll be in trouble. Juice and beer are available on site. The only drawback is that it is very cold due to the high altitude (approximately 1000 meters). The temperature dropped to 6 degrees in the early morning on a sunny golden week. The road before and after the campsite is so steep and narrow that you wouldn't think it was a national highway, making it impossible for cars to pass each other. There are bungalows, but only one building has a rider house. Bikers are advised to evacuate during inclement weather.

I went on May 3rd. I passed through National Route 265, but it was a rough road with falling rocks, fallen leaves, and water flowing on the road (T . T)At the campsite, the grass seemed to be mixed with moss and was fluffy. You take your trash home with you and the toilets are Japanese-style with flush toilets.It gets cold when the sun goes down, so please take precautions against the cold.It looks like it would be a good place to get away from the heat in the summer.

I went on May 3rd. Was it because it rained the day before? The grass is so soft that the beg sinks into it, making it unstable to sit on. It's quite cold at night!However, the manager was very kind and the scenery was great! By the way, take your garbage home!
