A hotel with a beautiful view along the canal. It was a little outdated.

One of Miyazaki's leading hotelsLocated on the banks of the Oyodo River, there is also a hot spring. There are also shops in the neighborhood that serve the original lettuce rolls, kamaage udon, and chicken nanban, which are famous for having baseball players visit their shops. The view of the Oyodogawa River is also great.

When it comes to the bad attitude of the Ronpali hotel staff, who may have cataracts or glaucoma. The room was dirty and full of water stains, and I wouldn't want to stay at this hotel again for work.Is the drain clogged? The water area is very dirty and very uncomfortable.

Stayed here on October 5th. We arrived on the Miyazaki car ferry in the morning and toured Udo Shrine and Aoshima until the evening. There seems to be a fair distance from Miyazaki Station to the hotel, so I asked at the tourist information center at Miyazaki Station if I could take a bus to the hotel, and was told that there were buses that passed nearby, but that there were no buses that would take me directly to the front of the hotel. I ended up taking a taxi to the hotel (I was given at the front desk how to take a bus to Miyazaki Station, a timetable of the nearest Miyazaki Onsen Tamayura no Yu bus stop, and a map of the area, but the buses don't run very often so it's a little inconvenient. It's a bit far to walk...)Miyazaki Kanko Hotel celebrates its 70th anniversary this year. Although it is a long-established hotel, the interior is kept clean. The front desk staff was also polite. The room is on the Airweave floor on the 9th floor of the east building. The twin room is spacious and offers a panoramic view of the Oyodogawa River from the large windows. There are some parts that feel old, but personally I didn't mind it and it was so comfortable. The slippers provided in the room are not disposable, but they have insole pads for those who are concerned about them, and they have been carefully considered. There are disposable slippers in the closet, so you can use those as well. The public bath only lends you a face towel at the entrance, so you must bring your own bath towel from your room. The open-air bath was a natural hot spring with nice hot water. There is also a bakery and a shop on the first floor of the west building where the large bath is located. At the shop here, I bought a hotel brand charcoal-grilled chicken and chilled soup as souvenirs, as well as drinks and sweets to drink in my room. It looks like the vending machine is only on the second floor, so I thought I might just pop by the shop and buy some after taking a bath. The taxi driver I took when I came for dinner told me that it was close to the tourist hotel! I ate chicken nanban at the recommended Ogura Seto store and it was so delicious! I personally recommend it.Breakfast is a buffet at Ichiki Isso on the second floor of the West Building. There were a variety of items and they were delicious. There was a cafe on the first floor, but it was a bit disappointing that it closed at 5pm.Miyazaki Kanko Hotel was a very nice hotel. There was a hot spring and the breakfast was delicious. Personally, I was able to relax. I would like to stay here again when I come to Miyazaki.

Although it is a long-established hotel nicknamed Miyakan, it has undergone renovations and improvements from time to time, and is clean and well-maintained.However, the one thing that bothered me was the parking lot. Since it was a Saturday, there were a lot of hot spring visitors from outside, and the parking lot for day-trip hot spring visitors and overnight guests was the same, so the first floor of the multi-story parking lot behind the hotel closest to the hotel was occupied mostly by day-trip hot spring visitors. Guests are expected to enter with heavy luggage from the second floor or above, or from a distant parking lot. When I looked at the nearest parking lot at 6am, it was empty because there were no hot spring customers. It would be helpful if the parking lot was separated for overnight guests and day-trip hot spring visitors.
