Although the road was very long, I really enjoyed nature and the sea. The cottage was beautiful and I was also impressed by how nice the manager was.I want to go again and again.

The manager of the cottage was kind and helpful and took great care of us.There was also play equipment in the garden, which the children enjoyed.

The large building is the adventure cabin, which can accommodate up to 38 people. There are 3 rooms on the second floor, which can accommodate 12+14+12 people. The first floor has a living hall, cooking room, large bath and family bath. There is a covered barbecue area outside. I think it would be suitable for use at children's parties.Reservations are required and must be made at least one week in advance (reservations can be made up to two months in advance). However, as long as you make a reservation, you can stay even in the middle of winter. There's nothing on the island itself, and the only vending machine here is broken, so you'll basically have to bring all your own food and drinks. I am grateful that I have access to electricity and running water. Cell phone reception is not available in many places on the east side of the island.

After 10 minutes on the passenger ship Akebono, we will land at Takenojiri Port on the remote island of Oshima. After walking for about 30 minutes while looking at the coastline on the mainland side and the round horizon off the east coast, you will arrive at Kurasaki Lighthouse. From here on, there are steep cliffs with no roads, and a spectacular 360-degree view. With the white lighthouse built in 1899 in the background, time passes slowly as you see the scattered reefs, ships sailing offshore, the shimmering blue ocean, and white clouds flowing across the blue sky as you are blown by the sea breeze.
