The location is very good. The room selection is Japanese-style. It is very clean. It is within walking distance to the shrine and duty-free shop. It takes five minutes to go boating in the canyon the next morning. It is a perfect accommodation for a day trip to Takachiho.

I had a lovely stay here. The owners were very welcoming and the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. It's in a very convenient location, too. Also, my room had an excellent view! The breakfast was very welcome- as a vegetarian, a simple breakfast of toast and eggs was much appreciated!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Absolutely perfect local B&B🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟10 stars is not enough 👍If I have the chance, I will definitely stay again💓In fact, several important attractions in Takachiho can be visited in about half a day including meals, but we adopted a very slow way to experience this tranquility and beauty by staying in this B&B located 600m away from Takachiho Gorge and 100m away from Takachiho Shrine💕 , the facts prove that our choice is correct.Different from the standard procedures and room types of chain hotels, the entire B&B is run by the male owner independently. There are various room types to choose from whether traveling alone or as a family. Even the rooms with shared bathrooms also provide personal toilets; shared bathrooms are available. The space is very bright and clean, and the tea sets and tea bags as well as kitchen utensils are provided, which shows the care and meticulousness of the male owner. Each room has a window to the outside. If the water vapor is not high that day, you can see the beautiful sunset by opening the window in the evening🌥️; do not close the window before going to bed at night. The screen window is not very useful and many unknown small insects fly in at night. 😅; The tatami in the room is very comfortable, and it is completely hassle-free to make the bed by yourself. The only drawback is that the air conditioner is not cold and has the same function as air supply. Fortunately, it does not get stuffy after nightfall. What's even more impressive is that they actually provide a simple breakfast. Although it is ❛simple❜, the basic protein is taken care of! During this period, the boss will constantly come out to inspect and replenish meals. He is just worried that everyone will not be full, but he is not worried about you eating at all! When I asked some questions on the website when booking a room, the boss always responded proactively and kindly, which made people feel at ease. Although it was a bit shocking to me that he was so unsmiling when we first met, the boss was actually very kind and spoke English well. Communication is easy, and even the accommodation fee can be paid by pay👍. If you have the opportunity, please be sure to give yourself a chance to experience such a high-quality B&B. A real Japanese B&B will give people the peace of mind and comfort of going home.

If you want to go boating in Takachiho Gorge or walk nearby, it is recommended to stay in Takachiho Town for one night. Although there is a language barrier, the boss is very nice and the introduction is clear. Japanese-style bungalow building, sleeping on tatami, quite comfortable to sleep on. The accommodation fee is very cheap, about NT$2,000. We stayed during Golden Week. It's very quiet after 6pm, and there's not much to buy nearby. However, Takachiho Shrine is very close, about 8 minutes on foot and 2 minutes by car. Passengers who drive themselves can refer to this.Although the breakfast provided only has toast (strawberry jam and cream), boiled eggs, milk coffee and tea, my son praised the strawberry jam for being delicious (/◕ヮ◕)/
