Used for one night on weekdays. Self-check-in/check-out system using tablet. There is no resident manager etc. There is no bath, toilet or washroom in the room. Shared shower rooms ② and toilets ① are located on the 1st floor, separated by gender. The washroom space is shared, and there is no hot water. Beds are made by yourself, and used linens and bath towels (there were no towels) are placed in the linen box in the room. The sheets and bath towels were thoroughly cleaned and clean, but there were a lot of hairs on the towels, and I was concerned that they hadn't been cleaned even though they were thin towels, so I put them in the linen box with the sheets. The shared shower room (equipped with body soap, shampoo, and conditioner) and toilet were clean, but the bath mat outside the shower room was horrifyingly dirty. It's better to remove it. Also, the convenient parking lot in front of the inn is the station parking lot (8:00-17:00), but you won't be able to leave your car after 17:00 because the chains will be put up. There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance, so you don't have to worry about eating or drinking even if you don't have a car. Shoes are not allowed at the accommodation, and cloth slippers are provided, but I was reluctant to wear them, so I wore socks. If you are interested, you should bring your own slippers.Although the cleaning is not perfect, the location is convenient and good if you are just staying the night. I was very worried about insects in the bedding after reading other people's comments, but the room I stayed in was fine.

With online check-in and check-out, there was no owner and we were the only team members, so we had a quiet time.

I will never stay there again.Baths and toilets are completely shared and quite small.I don't think you can take a proper bath.I slept on a mattress, but my whole body felt itchy.Looking at other reviews, it seems like there are a lot of mites. Hygiene management is the worst. The room also doesn't seem to have been cleaned. Dust and hair are scattered around. There is also a shared space, but you can't use it. However, you can only eat and drink in the shared space. It says there is a parking lot, but only one light vehicle can park there. Others can be parked at Aoshima Station parking lot or paid parking lot.The Aoshima Station parking lot is open until 17:00, so you cannot move after that.Only the smell of the shampoo was good.

Cactus Inn is a cheap option for tourists, but I wouldn’t recommend it. The last time we got there, we experienced three black-outs because there were too many tourists within the inn and the electricity short-circuited. The guests had to restart the main electricity system by ourselves because there weren’t any staff to help us out. Also, when we first got there, we had trouble checking in because the inn didn’t send us the verification code required at the self check-in counter. Luckily we phoned the customer service and the CS helped us out.

When I checked in and entered the room, it was in the same condition as the previous stay, with trash, futons, bath towels, etc. scattered all over the place! Since it was an unmanned accommodation, I called them and asked them to clean it up, but they didn't show any signs of being apologetic, and they acted like it was no problem. I didn't say anything else because I was on a trip and didn't want to spoil it with any trouble.I stayed for one night and was resting on the futon, but I noticed that there was a lot of sand-like material on the sheets! It turned out that there were a lot of insects that looked like mites. They were about the size of a grain of sand, and some were red in color, while others were black. I called again. I've stayed in this style of accommodation many times, so I'm not expecting perfection, and I know that it's cheap or bad. (Before that, I called in the morning because I didn't have any bath towels even though I was staying in the hotel, but since I was in the city, they wouldn't deliver them until the evening, so I put up with it.) He said he would be there right away, so I waited for him, but he never came, so I called him after waiting for about an hour. He said he would come right away, so I told him that I had been waiting for him, but he said, ``How many minutes is the customer's time?'' I said I would be there in the evening, so I had to finish my work right away. ” came the reply. When I arrived, I entered the room in my slippers. I told them that I wanted to cancel. Then, determined to determine whether the insect was a mite or not, he began to visually check for the insect, muttering, ``There's something like this. It's definitely moving.'' I was finally able to cancel, and once the cancellation was decided, I started putting away the sheets on my futon. While we were sorting out our things, we didn't even open the window. It's not like a mite is not a mite...I listed it on the website so that I could make a reservation right away on the same day.Even if it's not a tick, it's scary.I can't write it all!I'm not even a claimer.I want you to understand.

I have stayed at Cactus Inn a few times now and have always had a great experience there. If you are a sociable person and like to meet people, this is a great guest house to be able to do so. I have met a lot of people there and everyone is always very friendly.I like the open lounge and kitchen area which is very comfortable and has a speaker you can connect to via bluetooth. This is an excellent location in Aoshima, within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and bars and the local supermarket. It is right next to the Aoshima train station if you are coming by train. The rooms are basic but comfortable and the shared bathrooms and WC's are cleaned daily.Enjoy your stay!

Loved it here. Great location. Cooking facilities (and a great nearby shop to stock up). The futons were so comfortable. The people running it were lovely! Highly recommend

Poor hygienic environment 👎The bed is full of lint. You also need to make your own sheets and bed covers
