Pros: free parking, large parking lots. Good location, walkable to Takachiho shrine and Takachiho GorgeCons: You'll get a tiny room that is barely enough space for 2 people with luggage, if you do not book the japanese/western style rooms. The walkway on level 3 reeks of urine and the hotel room toilet has very strong sewage smell.Hotel looks great from the outside but can't say the same from the inside, especially for the price paid.

the most modern and energetic in the rural area gorge with calming ambience. The bath/shower is separated from the toilet room. All is designed very well and presentable.Nice Japanese (small portions of westernized continental) Breakfast buffet style included.Has a huge parking lot and self parking. On the negative side, WiFi is almost unusable on the 4th floor.

The hotel environment is very clean and comfortable. The rooms on the first floor are very spacious with beds and tatami mats (the price is also higher). The service from the counter staff was very good. Except for the fact that there is no English-speaking counter during the night hours, the front desk during the day can speak English and sometimes Chinese. The gentleman in the second picture knew that I bought food that could not be eaten directly and planned to buy from me to reduce my losses. It was really a very gentlemanly and considerate behavior. Of course, I did not let him do it in the end; occasionally there was a female Chinese counter He can speak Chinese, English and Japanese, and is very kind and considerate. Knowing that we did not book dinner at a hotel, he proactively told us that he could help us order other restaurants. Later we found out that the nearby izakaya was not very welcoming to tourists who spoke English in large numbers. All in all, this is a hotel worth recommending and suitable for families to stay in when traveling.

Honestly the hotel surpassed my expectations being in a rural region. Hotel has modern design, spacious room, great amenities, ample of parking and very clean. Location was great, 5mins drive or 20mins walk to the gorge, and a 2min walk to the Takachiho Shrine. We booked for a double twin bed room, it was decent size. Sink, toilet and shower were all separated which made it a lot easier getting ready in the morning. We selected the half-board option that included dinner and breakfast. Dinner was surprisingly good kaiseki courses. If I knew dinner was this good, I would have skipped all the snacking during the drive. Other reviews mentioned the restaurant being crowded, however we didn’t encounter any.Bed was medium firm, only down side was the pillow, a bit on the firm side.

This time I stayed in a room on the first floor. The room was large and comfortable. There is a small courtyard outside the room. The hotel has a parking lot, which is suitable for self-driving travelers. There are shops and restaurants nearby, and larger convenience stores need to be reached by car. The hotel is not far from Takachiho Shrine, so you can walk to enjoy the night music at night. Remember to borrow the free cushions provided by the hotel before departure, otherwise your feet will go numb after watching the entire performance. The breakfast provided by the hotel is quite rich, and overall it is a very suitable hotel for family travel.

The service is very good, but the child is allergic to the ingredients. The on-site supervisor and chef were very attentive in helping to prepare the food again, and also thoughtfully provided food ingredient tables. It feels good.

The room on the first floor is large and comfortable with a bathtub. There are 2 double beds that can also be made up on tatami mats. It comes with a capsule coffee machine and Japanese sencha tea. The toilet has a sensor-type light and you need to move when you sit for a long time. The bathroom has a bathtub and you can watch the outdoor landscaping. , there is no dry cleaning and public baths. The breakfast is sparse and the view from the large floor-to-ceiling windows is great!
