I went on a day trip to the hot springs in Marumatsu for the first time in a while. As always, I was able to "jonnobi" with good hot water. There are many inns in Sakka Onsen that use natural hot spring water.I don't think there is any inn that can match the quality of Marumatsu's hot water. The source seems to be from the same place, but the source is the one that reaches the inn's bathtub.Due to contact with the air or the hot water being rubbed in the hot water pipes.I think the hot water will have a different feel depending on the inn.Marumatsu hot springs are exquisiteIt's not a very clean inn, but it's perfect for people who want good hot springs. What a treat!I can't give a star because I didn't go into the guest room this time.

Now I look for and choose a quiet place.Accommodation fees and bath tax per night can be calculated in cash.Dinner/breakfast is all fresh and great. In particular, the small shrimp, a specialty of Niigata, are very fresh and sweet.I ate so well that they seemed to prepare some more lamb the next day.I was able to enjoy the food slowly and carefully. Also, the hostess was very kind.I'm not good at Japanese, so after checking outHe waited with me until the train arrived. The commander explained to me that the ticketing system was difficult because I was a foreigner. Thanks to you, I arrived at my destination well. While staying at the inn, I had a quiet and comfortable rest.Thank you very much, boss. Please prosper. I will go again when I have a chance. Please take care of your health~^^

I was able to visit Sakka Onsen, which was my dream. Due to the reputational damage caused by the Noto earthquake, I was the only customer and I felt lonely.Still, I was happy to be warmly welcomed by the landlady (^^;I immediately changed into my yukata and entered the hot spring. As everyone had said, the water was wonderful. No wonder there are so many repeat customers.I was disappointed that I couldn't take a bath in the open-air bath due to the earthquake, but the hostess served me well for dinner.I had a heaping amount of Niigata's specialty nanban shrimp, a happy miscalculation for a shrimp lover like me (^o^;)For the first time in a while, I felt like my stomach was going to explode.Everyone ☆ Sakika Onsen has returned to normal life, so please visit with confidence. Hot water doesn't lie.

The reviews said that there was a moldy smell and the food was cold, so I came here with some concerns, but my fears were unfounded. It is true that the building is old, and when you entered the building, there was a smell typical of old buildings, but the inside of the room was clean and there was no such smell. Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. The hot spring had a strong smell of sulfur, and it was clear that the quality of the spring water was good.It was a pleasant bath. The landlady was not only good at serving customers, but also very attentive. My colleagues and I talked privately about wanting to come back and stay again, and it became a great memory. thank you very much.

The customer service was very good. The rice was really disappointing, the sashimi was slimy and fishy, and the overall taste was weak and I didn't think it was delicious at all.The bacon and eggs for breakfast had three little flies grilled on them, which was very disgusting. The quality of the spring water was interesting, but there were a lot of things that looked like insect eggs around the mirror in the bath...The customer service was pleasant, so it might be a better inn if the food, bathroom cleaning, and lighting were better.

Sorry for the long post.I would like to write my honest impressions.-The exterior of the hotel is old, but personally it didn't bother me that much. The inside of the hotel has a retro feel, but it was a shame that everywhere I could see was full of dust.・As for the hot springs, the area around the changing room was a bit shabby, but I didn't mind it that much. The first thing I saw when I entered the bathroom was a foam sheet spread all over the bathtub (the same goes for the open-air bath). The bathroom was dark and the paint on the exterior walls and ceiling was peeling off, giving it a very strange atmosphere, probably because there was no electricity in the indoor bath due to the hot spring ingredients. The hot water itself was very good. However, I don't think the bathtubs, both inside and outside, are clean. In the open-air bath, fallen leaves were left unattended, ruining the scenery. Also, since the hot water from the indoor bath is simply poured into the outdoor bath, it was much too warm compared to the indoor bath...・The main meal was grilled fish, but there were many other dishes as well, and although the taste was bland, I personally liked it.-The guest room looked good at first glance, but there was some damage to the walls in some places. At night, stink bugs would fly around the light bulbs out of nowhere. I was completely deflated.Overall, the pricing is too disproportionate for this quality. The customer service of the employees was good, but other negative aspects were too noticeable. To be frank, I was disappointed.I won't go again.

Sakka Onsen is one of the hot spring resorts that deserves more recognition. I've had hot water from several other hotels, but I think this one has the highest concentration of extract. It is characterized by a strong sulfur scent and green hot water, which at the time of my visit was more moss green than emerald green. The indoor bath is a little hot, and the open-air bath is lukewarm. I'm a person who loves lukewarm water, so this is a blessing. As other reviews have said, the building is showing its age, so I don't recommend it if you're thinking of staying at a hot spring inn for the first time in Goto, and don't want to tolerate the oldness and bugs. However, as someone whose hobby is hopping around in remote inns, I'm quite satisfied with the old-style atmosphere, which is the perfect fit for the golden combo of bathing in the frothy, drinking a beer, and sleeping on the tatami mats. It was a nice inn that reminded me that the Showa era was also a happy era.
