It's Richjoa, a 3-minute walk from Kiyotsu Gorge. The hot springs were discovered by the previous generation.Anyway, you can bathe in the open-air bath for free for 30 minutes privately. It was first thing in the morning so I felt great. There are regular and lukewarm hot springs, and it is large enough for about 6 people. Immediately below is the river from Kiyotsu Gorge. It would be even better if the leaves were autumn and it was snowing.Morning: Open-air bath, dinner, and Kiyotsu Gorge starts at 9am, so be the first to go.You can also have the view spot of Kiyotsu Gorge to yourself. It was greatBy the way, Undoan and this inn seem to be acquaintances. It was the best memory♪

Stayed overnight to visit Kiyotsu Gorge. From Echigo Yuzawa, take a bus to the Kiyotsu Gorge entrance bus stop, and from there take the hotel's shuttle. It might be a pain to walk from the bus stop to Kiyotsu Gorge, so it might be better to stay overnight. The private hot springs along the valley, which you can enter for free once, have two types of sources, and there are temperature differences. There is no elevator in the building.

I received this as a guest during my trip to Niigata and Nagano. This is my second time staying at this inn at the entrance to the Kiyotsukyo Gorge Tunnel, so I was able to safely make my way to the parking lot and check in without getting lost on the way. Immediately after checking in, I received a discount ticket and immediately headed out to the Kiyotsu Gorge Tunnel. The panoramic station at the very back was just as spectacular as last time. After about an hour, I returned to the inn and took a bath in the private open-air bath I had reserved. The simple sulfur springs flow directly from the source, giving it a warm, warm feel, and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot springs while listening to the murmuring of the river. The room was a 10 tatami Japanese style room with a washroom and was spacious enough to relax. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant, and all of the locally produced dishes were delicious. I'm glad that Kiyotsu Gorge and the inn haven't changed much from before. If I have another chance, I will send it to you.

This hot spring inn is the closest to Kiyotsu Gorge, an area along the road from Shiozawa towards Tokamachi that is also a tourist attraction.Checked in after 3pm, probably because it was a weekday, but the place was empty.I took the trouble to get a room, so I called in advance.Corner room with two rooms on the 3rd floor. From the window, you can see many people entering the Kiyotsu Gorge.I get the impression that more than half of the tour bus visitors are from overseas. The hot springs are sulfur springs, and although they are not cloudy, they do have a faint sulfur smell. The indoor baths are undeniably old, but the temperature is adjusted to an appropriate temperature.I can feel the power of the hot springs. The perfect time for a private reservation is before dinner. The 30 minutes spent on the riverside went by in a blink of an eye, with the alternating hot and cold baths of lukewarm and hot water, and the effects of the heavy rain from the previous day gone.Dinner and breakfast are served all at once on the first floor.Dishes made with local ingredients may not have much of an impact, but if you think of them as healthy food, you'll be able to drink a reasonable amount of alcohol.Although it is old overall, you can feel the cleanliness.I also feel the hard work of the staff. The high season for sightseeing in Kiyotsu Gorge is coming. This is a recommended inn that we would like to protect as a hot spring inn for many years to come.

It is a very convenient place to go to Kiyotsukyo Tunnel, and the hot springs flowing directly from the source are also good. However, there is no toilet in the room, which is inconvenient. There is a wide variety of meals, but it feels more like a home than a professional job.I don't have too high expectations; I just think it's a good place to visit the Kiyotsukyo Tunnel.

It's located near the entrance of Kiyotsukyo Tunnel, so it's a good choice for those who want to see the hot springs and the valley. The open-air bath is the best! There was a mountain in front of me, and a river below, and it was just the right size and had both hot and lukewarm water. The wild vegetable dishes, especially the warabi, were crispy and very delicious.

Kiyotsukan, located at the entrance to Kiyotsu Gorge, was an inn with all three features: bath, food, and service.I especially enjoyed the wonderful hot springs ♨️, especially when I took a moment in the ``private open-air bath'' overlooking the clear stream.By staying one night at this inn, I was able to avoid the crowds during the day and visit Kiyotsu Gorge twice, once in the evening and early the next morning. Thanks to you, we were blessed with good weather and were able to refresh our bodies and minds.P.S.: This review is written by someone over 70 years old. Will it be helpful for young people and people who are concerned about their legs and hips? Thank you for your understanding🙇🏻

This large public bath and private open-air bath smelled like sulfur springs. The public bath was relatively lukewarm. The private open-air bath was free for 30 minutes. There was lukewarm water and hot water, and the hot water was just right.I was soaked in peace along the river.
