The public bath at Shiratama-no-Yu Senkei was currently under renovation, but guests were able to use the public bath at Shiratama-no-Yu Kaho free of charge. The large public bath has a wide variety of bathtubs and is spacious and very comfortable. There is also an open-air bath, where you can enjoy a relaxing time surrounded by nature. The rooms at Senkei are very clean, and the room I stayed in this time had an open-air bath on the balcony, so it was great to be able to enjoy the hot springs in a private space! The Kaiseki cuisine, which makes use of local ingredients, is also appealing, allowing you to experience the beauty of Niigata with all your five senses.Using seasonal local ingredients, we were able to enjoy a beautiful, seasonal meal.Full of volume and very filling! This time I stayed for multiple nights, and it was great that they offered different courses each day and were very considerate to those staying multiple nights.

I visited again for the night for the first time in more than ten years. The aura of the landlady at the entrance during check-in and check-out left an impression on me. The inside of the hotel was well-maintained, clean, and comfortable.Dinner was served in a private room for each group, with the staff in charge accompanying us so we could enjoy our meal in comfort.Only the open-air bath is hot spring. The indoor bath is boiled water. Is it hygienic due to the sulfur content? There was a sign saying that the indoor bath had boiling water, but I didn't really understand what that meant.I wanted to enjoy the hot springs, so I didn't take the indoor bath, but instead took the open-air bath, but the amount of water that comes out is not large enough to achieve 100% continuous flow, so I guess it's a circulation system. If you go to the roof of the open-air bath, you will be able to see it from the 5th or 6th floor of the guest room depending on the angle, so be careful. When I looked at the inn's website, I was a little disappointed because they used a lot of models to promote the hot springs.Breakfast was buffet style and had a large variety of items and was very delicious. A dashing male staff member was yelling at me periodically from inside the building, probably because they were pounding rice cakes, but I think that would be a nuisance for people with low blood pressure. At the drink corner in the breakfast venue, there were only two pots of cold drinks, giving the impression that there wasn't enough capacity. YasudaIt would be nice to have a server for water infused with fruits and lemons rather than three yogurt and coffee makers. There are fresh flowers arranged everywhere in the hotel, including the rooms, giving you a sense of hospitality, but your eyes are drawn to the artificial flowers near the elevator hall. There are so many artworks such as paintings in the hallway that it feels unpleasant.I would like to visit you again if I have a chance.

The atmosphere is like a gorgeous wedding venue, so I understand that there are people who like it, but I don't feel at ease. There was a company song on display inside the inn (lol)
