This is a hotel in Niigata that I want everyone all over the world to experience.This is an annex of Satoyama Jujo, a renovated old private house.I had stayed with my family this time.The view of Uonuma from the house is spectacular.The view from the private hot spring and sauna is also quite spectacular.Dinner was served at the restaurant in the main building, Satoyama Jujo.This restaurant is really wonderful.It is not only delicious. It is a very cultural representation of Niigata's food and sake.Looking around the world, we may not come across such a unique restaurant!I think this amazing hotel is one of the compilation in the snow country of Niigata.The food, local sake, hot springs, natural beauty, and the renovations of old Japanese buildings are all wonderful.

We used a shuttle car from Echigo Yuzawa Station. The driver was very friendly and I was able to relax and enjoy the ride while chatting with him. During my stay, I was also taken to dinner at Satoyama Jucho, so I was able to enjoy a smooth and stress-free stay from beginning to end.The room had the impression of a perfect combination of the traditional Japanese house feel and modern furniture, and was very comfortable. After arriving, we toasted with free champagne and had a happy time. There was great attention to detail and I felt a strong sense of hospitality. It was a wonderful and very satisfying stay.

``IZUMI'' is an inn that was completely renovated from an old private house, and we had a wonderful stay that exceeded our expectations. The first thing I noticed when I arrived was the open feel of the spacious atrium. It had the traditional feel of a building, but also had a somewhat modern feel to it, making it very comfortable.The staff's customer service was just the right amount of distance, and I was able to spend a comfortable time. I felt very relaxed because they responded immediately when I needed them and also respected my privacy.Surrounded by rice terraces and majestic mountains, the view from the window is like a painting. The beauty of nature that changes from morning to night soothed my soul. In addition, the interior, which is a fusion of masterpiece furniture and contemporary art, gives off a sense of ``utilitarian beauty'' and is a sophisticated space that evokes the potential of an old folk house.What particularly impressed me was the hot spring and sauna facilities. The open-air bath overlooking the mountains at an altitude of 2,000 meters is exceptional. There was also a sauna with a hot water bath, so you could not only relax but also refresh your mind and body.It is a truly special experience to be able to rent out this luxurious space as a whole. I think this is the best option for those who want to escape from everyday life and spend some quiet time. I would definitely like to visit again.

I was going to see the Nagaoka fireworks, so I couldn't find a place to stay in Nagaoka because it was so crowded, so I ended up staying at a place a little further away.Some people may not care because it's an old house being renovated, but I get the impression that it hasn't been thoroughly cleaned.Only the rice was good.Prices are high.The attitude of the employees is very bad.I made a 30 minute mistake on my check-out time and was late. I heard it wrong and said it wrong.Then, the sound of banging on all kinds of window glass outside was quite strong. When I looked outside, I saw an employee glaring at me with the face of a demon😅My girlfriend who was going with me got scared💦Personally, I don't have a reservation for 50,000 or 100,000 yen, so this is the first time I've ever stayed in an expensive hotel that made me feel bad when I went home.I have stayed in many different places.I have never had such a bad experience with the service, so I do not recommend it.

Contemporary furnitures section fit beautifully in a re-built old wooden house.Constant temperature outdoor sauna, with heating oven glass room. You can smell the hinoki in the bathroom.Big plus for me as the sakes are prepared in the fridge with no additional charge.Highly recommended for people with taste to spend the whole day experiencing.

It's a shame considering the accommodation fee was over 200,000 yen.* When I opened the lid of the ice cream in the refrigerator, it was leftovers.* There are a lot of dishes that are missing the used ones.*Cleaning is not done properly at all. Indoor pride and spider webs.* The luggage I sent is not in the room. When I asked, "Should I take it now?" Since the main building is far away, that's the answer.I sent it because I needed it.A wonderful renovated old house for rent. The people on site were wonderful and took great care of us, so I would like to express my complaint and ask for improvements. If you see this post, please respond positively. Basically, I support you. I won't write if you don't support me! ! !

This is a lodging facility created by Satoyama Jucho, which relocated and renovated an old folk house in Niigata and allows one group to rent out the whole building for the day. It is built on the top of a small mountain, surrounded by rice terraces.We stayed as a group of four in the middle of winter, and the 182-square-meter space afforded us privacy, allowing us to fully enjoy the ``old folk house that wasn't cold'' and the ``old folk house with masterpiece furniture and modern art.''The view from the open-air bath in the morning is truly breathtaking. Highly recommended.
