Please read and don't look at the Stars only !!!For some people this might be 1 Star only, it is a very old house and needs some renovation but because it is so old I kinda liked it.The owner told me that part of the house was over 1000 Years old, and there were old things everywhere.... Many museums would probably want to get their hands on some of this stuff. Also the owner was super nice trying his best with some English when I told him my Japanese isn't that good and he brought me out behind the house with some food to feed the sea gulls and take pictures of the sunset :)But yeah the house is old, the stairs are kinda small especially when trying to get down with those Japanese sized slippers where only half of my feet fit into ^^VThe toilet rooms were so small that it was very hard to use. You heard everything from anyone in and outside the house as well as feeling the whole ground shaking (on the 2nd floor) when someone was walking by.So yeah decide yourself do you want a comfortable bed in a modern place please don't come here !! if you want to sleep in an historical building with lots of charm and nice people please come

It was very affordable and the service was extraordinarily good. They gave us seagull food with which we could feed the seagulls, that they would come very close to us. Furthermore they took us around by car and the man showed us a shrine and a temple on Sado Island. You should be able to speak Japanese though.

Situated walking distance from the ferry terminal, it is practical if you are on foot. By car it is easy to miss it, due to the lack of signage: make sure you take a map and picture of the front building. …

It's a historical building, and as a foreigner, I don't often have the opportunity to live in a ryokan like this, so it was a great experience! There are so many historical exhibits in the hallway, it's amazing. There is a refrigerator and microwave. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided in the bath. (Women's bath)Hair dryer is in the room. They also have tooth brushing and yukata. There is also a Lawson about 5 minutes walk away. The building itself is old, so the floors and hallways are warped and warped, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Each room was also equipped with air conditioning. In the morning, the owner of the inn took us to Lake Kamo and let us experience feeding the seagulls. The owner and the landlady are very nice people! Stay well!
