I was traveling with my elderly mother. There are so few steps that even my mother, who doesn't have good legs, can go into the hot springs many times, and there are bars to assist in the hot springs and toilets, so it's quite safe.Mr. Nakai was also very kind and we had a comfortable time. thank you very much. The surrounding environment is good and it is suitable for a quiet stay. The temperature of the hot springs is certainly low, but I think it's a good place to soak for a long time.

This was my first trip to Niigata. My daughter, who was born in the Heisei era, had never stayed at a ryokan before, so we took care of her this time. The room was spacious and the location was quiet, so we were able to spend a relaxing time. The bath was warm, but I think it's perfect for summer. The floor of the bathhouse looked like tatami mats, so I thought it was a good idea for small children to avoid getting hurt if they fell. The food was also very delicious. Also, the staff was supposed to lay out the futon for me, but I ended up laying it out myself and relaxing. There was no explanation about how long to lay out the futon, so I ended up laying it out myself, thinking I was going to lay it out myself. To be honest, I felt uncomfortable when I was relaxing after 8pm when the key to the clubhouse was unlocked and the staff entered the house without permission. This was despite the fact that there were two women. If you're changing clothes, it's a private matter, so if you make a mistake, you'll be in big trouble. Although it was highly rated overall, I will give it a 3 star rating this time.

Unfortunately the food was poor💦Drinks can't be more expensive than at an izakaya.3 pieces of seasonal sashimi: farmed yellowtail, frozen squid somen noodles, and a small amount of frozen sweet shrimp (lol)I want the sashimi to be luxurious even if you cut down on other things! ️

I used it because there was a memorial service nearby. I felt comfortable with the natural customer service that wasn't stiff. Thank you for immediately recommending a wheelchair to my father, who is disabled. The tatami flooring in the bath was non-slip, which was very helpful for elderly people. Thank you for your help.

This is a quiet inn surrounded by greenery. I was impressed by the hospitality that was put in place everywhere so that the guests could enjoy themselves. This was my first time at Yutagami Onsen, and the hot water was very nice and warm. The most noteworthy thing is the food. Even the local Tagami people said that if they had to choose Wakatake for their food, everything was really well seasoned and delicious. On a side note, the hot spring steamed buns in the room that were available for reservation were really delicious, so I regretted not pre-ordering them lol. Everyone should buy them and eat them.

I was traveling with two preschoolers, and there was a room available, so I made a reservation for the morning of my stay, with breakfast and dinner included. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the reservation details, but they responded very well even though it was on the same day. After arriving, we were able to borrow children's yukatas, and since they were 90cm sized, both my 2-year-old daughter and 4-year-old daughter were happy to wear them. There were also small Anpanman slippers, which I was very happy about. The children's towel set had illustrations on it and they were happy with it.The room was very spacious and clean, so there was a sunken kotatsu by the window behind the shoji screen, a refrigerator, washroom, shower, and toilet between the room and the entrance. It's very spacious, well maintained and I'm satisfied.Dinner was an upgraded course,I thought the regular sashimi had turned into luxurious sashimi, but it turned out to be regular sashimi + luxurious sashimi...!My husband had a delicious steak, which was also delicious. It looked stylish and gorgeous, and the taste was delicious. The large bathroom has tatami mats (sorry for my vocabulary) rather than a stone floor, so children won't slip and fall, and there are children's chairs and a toy washbasin so they can enter quietly. .Thanks to the inn's careful consideration for families with children, I was able to enjoy a relaxing meal and hot springs for the first time in a while. If you order the inn's original steamed buns by 20:00 the day before check-out, you can buy them at the souvenir shop in the lobby when you check out, so I ordered them.If you look for original characters in the building, you can receive gifts, and the indirect lighting is cute and looks like paper balloons.I loved the playful and wonderful inn.I would also like to take care of you.Thank you very much!

I booked the accommodation on short notice, but it was good. When I arrived, the parking lot in front of the entrance was full, but I was immediately guided to another spot and was able to park. (There also seems to be a shuttle bus from the station.)There are parts of the facility that show their age.The room was on the 4th floor. The Japanese-style room is quite spacious with 12 or 3 tatami mats.I think it has been refurbished because it looks different from the image I had when I entered. There was wifi and it was fairly fast.(No problem if you just watch YouTube)(The welcome sweets were hot spring steamed buns and were delicious.)We had dinner and breakfast, and they were quite delicious. For the main course, I was able to choose between a seasonal dish or a soy milk hotpot when I made an online reservation, so I chose the seasonal dish.(I was very satisfied, but I think it was too much for people who eat little. The pot is enough for 2 cups of rice, so there are plenty of items.)As for the bath, as stated on the homepage, the indoor bath is covered with tatami mats, which I thought would reduce injuries to children when they fall.It may be due to the season, but the temperature of the hot water felt around 39℃. (Both indoor bath and outdoor bath)It's perfect for people who like long baths.I couldn't take it easy because I had to leave in a hurry, but I thought I'd like to come here privately next time as it's a nice and quiet place.
