I stayed here for one week summer of 23’. The owner is an amazing person. She speaks English which was a big help. The home is wonderfully decorated with a seaside boho type of aesthetic. The bedrooms have tatami mats. Its centrally located in Ogimachi. The entire week Instayed I didnt lock my door and my bags sat in the genkan. It is that safe. Friendly people live in this town. With my little bit of Japanese I was able to have an amazing experience.

The crew and I worked together on the film shoot every season for a year.iro is a really relaxing place. The owner is also a traveler, so he doesn't know how long it will be in Sado. But if you make a promise, they will welcome you with utmost sincerity. This may be the case with anything, but if you feel like it, it's better to go on a trip and aim for IRO.Even if you don't know much about Sado, the owner will tell you a lot about it, and the more you know about Sado Island, the more you'll fall in love with it.Being here reminds me of the connection with people and nature that is essential to life, but also a luxury.I'm sure there are many people around the world who are looking for a place like this where they can spend a relaxing time.

A cozy old folk house guest house in a port town.I stayed at this guesthouse through a recommendation from a friend. As you can see if you look it up on Google Maps, there are many restaurants in Ogimachi. What's more, all of the restaurants are well-known local restaurants that are loved by locals more than tourists. Furthermore, there are several hot spring facilities (Oginoyu, Kamome-so) within the town, and within a few minutes' drive you can enjoy magnificent natural scenery, and there are many sightseeing spots where you can enjoy the remnants of Sado's old culture. exist,This guest house is located in such a convenient location.I was able to discover many of these wonderful local places by learning from the owners. Thank you very much for giving us a wonderful travel experience. The owner is a travel enthusiast who has traveled all over the world, mainly in South America and Asia, and the miscellaneous goods he has lined up are cute, and the dim light that shines through the old house gives it the feel of a special place with an exotic feel.I would like to use this inn as a starting point for my next trip to Sado and explore various areas of the island.

It's the best guest house. It was my first time going to Sado, and it was a very fulfilling stay. The inn is a renovated old folk house with an open feel. I thought the miscellaneous goods were wonderful, and the cheerful proprietress, who loves to travel, had collected them from all over the world. The hostess spoke to me in a friendly manner, and we had a great time talking about our trip. The inn was originally a pastry shop, and the entrance and living room were spacious, which was helpful since I had a lot of luggage. The kitchen and bathroom are fully stocked with all the necessities and have been kept clean, so you can use them comfortably. I was also happy with the thoughtfulness of letting me choose the color of the sheets and pillows for the futon. You can burn some incense in the living room and make a cup of coffee using the built-in grinder, or you can take a nap in the hammock in the Japanese-style room on the second floor. It's also a comfortable place to relax. The location is convenient, as it is a 10-minute walk from Ogi Port, and there are supermarkets, izakayas, and hot springs nearby. The landlady told us about tourist spots and pubs that only locals know about, so we were able to eat delicious food and have fun.I would like to use it again when I visit Sado!

A hidden gem guest house. I don't want to tell you.The owner's taste is wonderful.I understand that they immigrated from Kamakura. The old house has been beautifully renovated, and small items from all over the world are tastefully displayed.Very clean, well-maintained space with lovely dyed linen bedding.I was also allowed to choose the color. All cooking utensils are provided, including an IH cooking heater, pots, pans, and tableware so that you can cook for yourself. The owner is friendly and takes great care of you. They helped me with shopping, souvenirs, etc. When you're staying at a hostel for the first time, you feel safe.
