I used it on a ski trip with two preschool children.・Great location (10 minutes walk from Echigo Yuzawa Station, in front of Yuzawa Kogen Ski Resort, there are many delicious restaurants around)・Relaxing hot springs・Feel the owner's kindness and consideration for the facilities and equipment in the facility.It was the best ski hotel I've ever stayed at. Please let me use you again. thank you very much!Note: Dinner is not provided at the inn. For weekends, we recommend making reservations for dinner in advance. Every place I went was fully booked and I had a hard time finding an empty spot.

The location was good, right in front of the ski resort, and the inside of the hotel was clean and easy to use. It would have been nice to have a humidifier. There is no refrigerator, but you can cool it between the double windows.

This is an old-style guesthouse with only rooms, so don't expect too much, but the rooms and space are kept clean and very comfortable.Best of all, it's in a prime location right in front of Yuzawa Kogen Ski Resort, a 10-minute walk from Echigo-Yuzawa Station, and its breakfast of Koshihikari rice from Uonuma is appealing.Hot springs are also recommended.

Accessibility: Easily accessible by shuttle bus or a short distance walk from the train station.It is right in front of a Ski resort. There are shuttle service to other nearby ski resorts too.Room: Our room was comfortable for 2 adults + 1 kid (can accomodate up to 4 futon mattress/person).We saw families with 3 children too.It is not as spacious as the Western/Southeast Asian hotel or air BnB so book accordingly to your needs.Shared toilets: The rooms do not come with a toilet. However the shared toilets are comfortable and clean. Bidet, seat warmer, etc is working.Shared bath: There's an in-house onsen bath with 4 showers installed. Most of the time we got the whole bath to ourselves.Breakfast: Yummy well-balanced traditional Japanese breakfast served in their in-house canteen. Breakfast starts at 7.30am and ends 8.30am. Be on time as it is not buffet style!Drying room: There's a room beside the reception for drying clothes, gloves, shoes, etc that may have gotten wet from the snow/rainwater.Shoebox: There are shoeboxes beside the reception. You keep your shoes in your assigned locker and change to indoor slippers whenever you're in the compound.Ski equipments placeholders: You can keep your ski equipments at the assigned holders at the reception.In-house canteen: Yummy coffee and snacks are available for order.Rate: 10/10 will definitely be back!

The hot springs are fed directly from the source and are slightly hot, warming you to the core of your body.However, although they claim to prevent infection, the owner is not wearing a mask.To make matters worse, there was no safe or refrigerator in the room, making it difficult to lock the door, and when I stayed in a room on the first floor, the first floor would make a creaking noise just by walking by a guest on the second floor.When a child runs wild, it makes a lot of noise, so I asked the owner to be careful, but it turned out to be a waste of time.

2020/02/01-02/05 Stay for 4 days and 3 nightsThe location of the B&B is directly opposite the Yuzawa Plateau Ski Resort, but it is a bit far away from Echigo-Yuzawa Station. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the station to the B&B, but the terrain is undulating. If you are carrying a lot of luggage, it is recommended to take a bus or go there. Take a taxi to the B&B.We arrived at the B&B in the morning. We originally planned to just store our luggage and check in in the afternoon, but the owner of the B&B was kind enough to let us stay in the room to rest and put our things in the morning. When checking in, we also used a video call to find an interpreter, which was very helpful. Be careful, but unfortunately there is no credit card payment method. You can only use cash, Japan's PayPay or China's Alipay, which is slightly inconvenient for travelers from other countries.The room type I booked this time is a 6-stall Japanese-style room. The space is pretty good. It won’t be too crowded if you stay with two friends. There are no toilets and bathrooms in the room, but the public toilets are very clean. The bathing area and bathing pool are not big but not too big. It will be crowded and the bath after skiing is quite comfortable.The breakfast part is a very traditional Japanese breakfast. The main dishes will change a little every day, such as grilled fish, ham, pork chops, etc... Especially the white rice is very delicious, and it is worthy of the rice from the Niigata area.Yuzawa Kogen Ski Resort is right opposite the B&B. I used it at Fuji Rock. I had to take a bus to get to the venue, and it was about a 10 minute walk from the station, but it was very comfortable. I was mostly just sleeping...I was allowed to take a bath in the morning and evening, and there was only one bathtub, but it was enough.

This is more like 3.5 stars. The owner is very nice and helpful. Place is quite old and bathrooms are separate, which are main reason for 3.5 instead of higher rating. Place itself and bathrooms are clean.Ofuro is small but good to try out. Also clean.It's slightly far by walk from eki but right in front of the Yuzawa kogen ski area ropeway.It's also quite cheap.I didn't try the food there. Many restaurants around there. Can try local eating joints.

Probably the cheapest accommodation around here.The building looks old, but it has been renovated and is surprisingly clean inside.It's a Japanese-style room, so it's a good place to bring two children.
