The route from the new road to Homo Pass was cleared of underbrush and bushes.

The owner seemed unfriendly at first (lol), but once we started talking, he turned out to be kind and friendly and told us many valuable stories. I'd like to do the horseshoe-shaped day trip, but next time I'll probably stay overnight at the Homo Hut. If I had to say one thing, it would be a bad idea to imagine a mountain hut in North Africa.

We were allowed to use the tent site.No reservation required.The location is excellent, with a 360-degree panoramic view of Mt. Asahidake, Mt. Tanigawadake, and the mountains of Niigata.At night, the starry sky is a sight to behold.The bio-toilet was out of order, so it was just a portable toilet.It cost 500 yen for the toilet and tent site.As of 2021.09

The attitude of the manager, Kikuo Takanami, is the worst. He may seem like a celebrity, but I felt really disgusted that someone with such a pretentious attitude was looking after the cabin. The facilities are nice but it's a waste.

A business hut located at a key point on Mt. Chatanagawadake.There are no mountain badges for sale.There is an abundant water source nearby and a tent area.

If you make a reservation at the last minute, you will be scolded and told both when you make the reservation and after you go to the hut, saying, ``If you don't make your reservation at least three days in advance, we'll be in big trouble,'' so be careful. I'm not a bad person. He was in a better mood the next day.

I went there on October 22nd. I had heard that there was no caretaker, so I brought some ingredients, a cooker, etc. However, I didn't expect there to be anyone there, so there were people who helped me with meals, and magazines etc. It must have been because they said they were open for business, but when I called to make a reservation, they left a message on the answering machine, but was it easy? But I feel sorry for her.
