When I made the reservation, I was worried because the man who answered the phone was so indifferent from start to finish, but the food during my stay was artistic and delicious, and I had a special time. It was very disappointing that only the telephone support was questionable.

However, it was a terrible facility where I had to take an open-air bath while smelling of cigarettes. Even though it's not even the early Showa era, smoking areas are not maintained in this Reiwa era and are left open. I paid a not cheap accommodation fee of more than 100,000 yen per night, and instead of enjoying forest bathing, I was forced to breathe in second-hand smoke that was only harmful to my body. A facility for those who love nature, surrounded by forests and rivers, where you can also enjoy forest bathing. I visited there for the purpose of medical treatment with great expectations and excitement, but I don't want to go there again. Isn't it the ultimate destruction of nature to allow smoking inside the facility and outside the rooms? There is also the possibility of getting involved in forest fires due to littering. It is the facility's responsibility to provide facilities so that both smokers and non-smokers can spend a comfortable time. If it costs a high price, shouldn't it be well maintained? I went there to receive medical treatment, but it turned out to be an even more harmful experience.

The food is the best! You will be surprised by the taste, texture, and appearance. The room is also relaxing. The window glass is shiny! It looks like they are polishing it.You can enjoy the view through the window. I saw sweetfish jumping on the river surface. The staff were also friendly, courteous, and efficient. When I left, I was surprised to see the manager and head chef see me off.

Food was nice, but the stuff and services weren't as good or professional as other ryokans considering what I paid for. In Japan, there are some brilliant ryokans out there, which give you great qualities, atmosphere and services. They are normally less expensive than this place. NEVER AGAIN because the water was leaking to my room's outside bath from the outside bath above and I complained it, but never got any apologies from any stuff who acted it was usual. SHAME
