An old-fashioned hotel. The staff gave me an extension cord in advance because the outlet was broken, and I was moved by their attention to detail, which gave me a 5 star rating for the service.

The location is good, close to Ueno station. There is a convenience store nearby. It has been open for a long time. Therefore, the inside of the building and rooms are not modern.

I didn’t have a lot of expectations in this hotel due to the price and location although I expected that the front desk staff would be rude. In the contrary, the staff was very nice and even gave a post card of Ueno Park and pocket tissue. The rooms were okay but the toilet was a bit small. No bidet or washlet, too. Guests can smoke in inside the room during their stay. The only thing I didn’t like would be the curfew hours. The hotel and entrance will be opened until 1AM so it’s not 24 hours that you can come in and out of the hotel.
