We stayed here for a week. The rooms and fittings are very similar to other Mimaru locations. They were quite spacious for Tokyo standards, and it was very clean and felt new.The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us with suggestions for experiences and booked one for us.The location is very close to the Ginza line Inaricho substation, and 10 minutes walk to the main JR Ueno station. It’s a bit further to the Keisei Ueno station (about 15-20 minutes walk) if you’re coming from Narita airport.There is a supermarket about 200m away also, with a 7-Eleven opposite.What this place lacks is many dining or shopping options in the immediate vicinity, being in more of a business area.

We stayed at the Mimaru Ueno inaricho for 8 nights at the beginning of our Japan trip. The rooms were nice and big enough for a family of four kids are 10,12. It was very easy to access the Ginza line and Ueno station for the JY line etc. The front desk staff were excellent! Helping us with any questions we had and with forwarding our bags. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Stay in a great location!We had an amazing stay at Mimaru Tokyo Ueno Inaricho. The location is unbeatable – within walking distance to Ueno and Inaricho stations, top attractions like the Ueno Park, Zoological Gardens, and Tokyo National Museum, shops, and restaurants. It made exploring the area incredibly convenient for our family. I saw previous reviews stating that it was far from the stations but if my 4-year-old handled that much walking without complaining, I think any relatively healthy adult will find the distance to be comfortable.The staff was exceptional – warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. From check-in to check-out, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I appreciate the fact that we were able to store our luggages after checking out to give us some more time explore without the hassle of dragging our luggages around. Their friendly attitude truly made us feel at home.The hotel itself was spotlessly clean. Every corner of the room and common areas was immaculate, which gave us peace of mind, especially when traveling with kids.The room was spacious, which is perfect for a family of four. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax without feeling cramped, and the beds were incredibly comfortable (we booked the double beds with double sofa beds). We all slept like babies after a long day of sightseeing!The room is also equipped with cookware and kitchenware so if you would rather cook or simply have easily prepared meals, you may do so. They have other appliances available you may rent from the front desk clerk.Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We highly recommend this hotel for its prime location, exceptional service, and comfortable accommodations for families. But, we also can’t wait to try other Mimaru hotels in Osaka and Kyoto on our next visit.

Hotel staff is very friendly and all seem to know at least some English which was super helpful and greatly appreciated. The bathroom and shower area were well maintained and very clean. It’s located close to the Ueno station which was super helpful with how many different places we traveled to. It’s also even closer to a station on the Ginza line. It’s also close to a grocery store and a 7-11, which we frequented often. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Overall, the location and room type are both very good choices. The location is very good, not far from the subway, and there are Ueno Park and many shopping places nearby.However, on the first day I checked in, I discovered that the bathroom space had a very strong odor, such as a clogged sewer pipe mixed with the musty smell from the air vent, which made it impossible to stay in it. Even after the service staff responded, nothing changed. , which also reflects the next question.The cleaning is very unreliable. Although the counter stated at the beginning that it was cleaned and cleaned every day, it was obviously very inaccurate. The floor was always dirty, which was particularly obvious because of the dark carpet. The personal items bins in the toilets were not even tidied daily. In addition, because we had not yet set off when the service staff came, we were given new towels and were never tidied up again that day.In addition, the public washing machine is very small, and even the washed clothes have a strange smell. At the same time, the power of the dryer is too small, and it is basically impossible to dry the clothes in one trip, and it takes a lot of time to wait for cleaning. If you are traveling for a short distance, you can consider doing it together and then leaving some time for a wonderful journey.

This place is fantastic for a family with kids. Most places in Japan are small but this was spacious enough to fit a family of five with all children under 12. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They all spoke good English too. Great location too, minutes walk between Ueno and Asakusa.
