I used it for an overnight stay after climbing Mt. Asamagakure and Mt. Hanagare.This pension is located in a quiet area of the Asama Highlands (you can wake up to the sound of wild birds chirping in the morning).Even though it's a pension, there is a family bath with hot spring water, and Japanese meals for breakfast and dinner. So this time I chose a Japanese-style room.The inside of the building is still safe as coronavirus countermeasures are in place.The rooms, dining room, and bathrooms are also clean.The refrigerator is shared, but I was able to chill my souvenir Tsumagoi Kogen beer.The tempura for dinner is made with wild flowers grown in the backyard, making it both rare and delicious. All alcohol is cheap, so I ended up drinking too much.Before checking out, you can also touch Tomo, an Akita dog, and Lala, a cat, and Junji, which is a must-see for animal lovers.This is not a hot spring inn, but rather an inn where you can soothe your mind and body after the fatigue of sightseeing.

The elaborate dishes were plentiful and very delicious.I was able to spend a relaxing vacation in a quiet environment as a base for mountain climbing.

This is a hot spring pension located in the Kita Karuizawa area of Kamahara, Tsumagoi Village, Gunma Prefecture.The hot spring name is Tsumagoi Baragi Onsen. The source name is Lakeside Hot Spring. The spring quality is alkaline simple hot spring, and the hot water is transported from Baragi Onsen.Unfortunately, it is a simple hot spring that has been processed and has almost no special features, so please think of it as a hot spring prepared to warm up your mind and body after sightseeing, rather than the main purpose of the hot spring. The two bathrooms feel like a bathroom at home.As the name of the pension suggests, the meals are Japanese. A couple from Akita and Iwate will serve you local cuisine. In addition to the Kiritanpo hot pot, the other dishes were delicious.My review is mainly about the hot springs, so this is the number of stars, but as an inn, I wanted to give it one more star.

Excellent Japanese food and homemade desserts. You can also enjoy the indoor hot spring bath as much as you want. A pension run by a kind couple. What if the signboard cat and dog were also cute?
