Book the Skyliner train at a discounted price on the Klook website or KKday website, depart from Narita Airport, get off at the final stop, Keisei Ueno Station, in 40 minutes, and arrive at the hotel in 7-8 minutes on foot. The room was small, but it had everything you needed, and probably to keep the price low, when you check in, you are asked to leave the used towels outside the room door as they will not be cleaning the next day. They put the used towels outside the door, so a new towel was placed in the bag the next day. I put it in and left it in front of the door, and it was actually nice because it didn't come in to clean.Across the road from the hotel was 'Ameyoko Market', which is like Namdaemun Market in Seoul. There were many restaurants and shops within the market, and a 3-minute walk away was 'Yoshinoya', a 24-hour public restaurant near Okachimachi Station. You can eat noodles, gyudon (beef rice bowl), curry, pork cutlet, beef hotpot, grilled fish set meal, and breakfast set meal (consisting of rice/egg/ham/beef/salad/miso soup) for 400 to 750 yen, and it is delicious and in Seoul. The price was about 60% of the price of a public restaurant. When you come out of the hotel entrance and type 'Marukin Ueno' on Google Maps, 'Marukin Handmade Kimchi Shop' will appear, and in 1 minute and 30 seconds on foot, you will arrive at 'Marukin Food Store', run by a Korean-Japanese resident, offering Korean food including Korean snacks, ramen, kimchi, salted fish, side dishes, beer and makgeolli. It was also nice that there were Korean restaurants next to them, such as Daemun Kyungsung Market, Masan Restaurant, Haeunji, and SEOUL.It was an inexpensive hotel with the basic functions of a hotel near Ueno Station, which is good for access to Narita Airport and other downtown/sub-center areas of Tokyo.

Although it looks a bit retro, the price and transportation distance are very good!

At 8am, before I had checked out, the cleaning lady unlocked the door and stormed out. Both the person in question and the front desk apologized, but that is not the problem.everything is ruined

Located a little far from the stationThe front entrance is on the second floor and requires stairs, so wheelchair users cannot use it.There is a coffee shop and a Japanese restaurant in the building, and discount services are available. There is no parking lot

I guess it's a little old? There were no complaints about the price or service. It's quiet and I can sleep. It says online that amenity goods (toothbrushes, etc.) are in the room, but I had to get them at the front desk. Wouldn't it be helpful if there was an explanation at the front desk or when you enter the room? Also, some reviews said that the toilet didn't have a washlet, but the single room I stayed in had a washlet with a button on the wall instead of on the toilet.

It's less than a 5-minute walk from JR/Tokyo Metro Ueno Station, but since I'm not familiar with the area, it took me more than 10 minutes to get there at first. Let's check the route properly lol. It's right after you cross the pedestrian deck (aerial walkway) from the main entrance. This time, although I arrived in Tokyo in the morning, I was only able to check in at night, so I requested that I leave my baggage in advance in the morning, but they did so without any problem. (Confirmed by phone in advance)It feels old, and the semi-double room is quite small, but since I was only staying alone this time, it was enough.I stayed alone in a semi-double room, but all amenities such as towels and gowns were provided for two people.Oh, and I saw a review about not being able to find a hair dryer. In the room I stayed in, as you can see in the photo, it was placed next to the TV.Wi-fi available. In front of the elevator on the accommodation floor, there is a ``terminal library'' with about 200 books that you can read freely.Thank you for your help.(Used in July 2024)
