I visited in August. Although it is close to the road, it is a very quiet environment. It's right around the corner from the gas station, so it's comfortable and you don't have to go deep into the mountain at the campsite. There is no air conditioning in the hut. Even if you open the windows and use screens, the insulation is surprisingly good and you won't get cold. I thought it was a good idea to have the fan running to let in the wind. I'm sure it will be comfortable in winter too. There are tables under the eaves, but you can't make charcoal or bonfires there, so it's quite a problem when it rains. I brought a cassette stove with me just in case, so I grilled food there. There is an IH in the room, but you will need to bring an IH compatible pot.The unit bath is small, so if you are traveling with children, I think it would be best to go to a nearby hot spring so that you can take them with you. There is also a convenience store nearby, so you won't have any problems.I think it's the best base to go south via Shiraito Falls and enjoy Karuizawa to the fullest. I think it would be a good idea to buy at Tsuruya and then check in. The freezer space in the refrigerator is small. The cost performance is very good, so I think it's perfect for couples.

I visited here before and stayed for one night!You can also have a barbecueYou can see Mt. Asama, so drink coffee on the deck while looking at Mt. Asama in the morning.It was very relaxing!Bath towels, face towels, etc.It is better to bring your own amenities.Looks good!The manager is also very personable.Just check the things you want to see in personIt's easy because you can check in and check out on line! I'm thinking of repeating it again!

MORIKOYA CABANON in Kita Karuizawa, Gunma Prefecture is a place where snow tires and chains are essential during the snow season. We used it in mid-December, and since there were three buildings and we were the only ones with family, we felt comfortable using it. Check-in can also be done via LINE and is hassle-free.The owner was also very kind and gave the children small gifts.The room was clean and very easy to use, and there was a heater so it wasn't cold at all.We were able to rent out hammocks and fire pits for free, which the children enjoyed and it was great to be able to reduce the amount of luggage we had to carry.The view of the starry sky at night while sitting around the bonfire was amazing.Also, there was a place to wash grills, etc. outside, but waterproof gloves and innerwear were provided, which was very helpful. It would be great if you could get hot water if you wanted.Everyone in my family liked it here and all said they wanted to come again, so I think we'll come back again.

It was a new cottage and very clean 😃There were three cottages on the same site.It was so cool and comfortable that I didn't need a cooler even during the day!

I made a reservation in advance (using Nap) and visited for the first time. The facility was clean and the surrounding area was quiet, making it a nice vacation. We were a family of four (children aged 5 and 2), and the children enjoyed playing on the grass. There are various facilities nearby, so I don't think it would be inconvenient to get around by car.It depends on the type of people staying next door, so please take that into consideration.Additional information is listed below.①Climate (as of July)・It gets hot in the sun during the day・It feels relatively cool after the evening, so it's best to wear a thin jacket especially at night.②Facilities・As it is new, it is clean overall.・You can rent a mattress to sleep on, so you will need to lay it out and use sleeping bags and blankets that you brought with you.・The rental mattress is a little hard, so if you have an air bed, you may want to bring it with you.・The bedroom space is large enough for 4 to 5 people.・Bath and toilet are separate・The toilet has a washlet・The bath is small, but there is a bathtub, so it's not a problem if you just wash your body off.・There are no special amenities, so please bring your own shampoo etc.・Kitchen has IH stove and sink・Please bring your own sponge etc.・There is a table chair for 4 people on the wooden deck.・BBQ set available (with net and charcoal tongs)・You need to clean the BBQ set yourself after using it (detergent and scrubber are provided)・There is a fire pit (you must bring your own fire pit)③Others・It is good to have various types of insect repellent.・There is a light on the wooden deck, but it is better to have a light because the grilling area is quite crowded when the sun goes down.・Fireworks OK
