I stayed here to participate in 2024 Shiga Hill. When I drove near the building, a dog came up to the car and it was so cute. The interior has a Showa era feel and is relaxing. The hot springs are colorless and transparent. They were building something that looked like an open-air bath. The food looked and tasted better than where I stayed last year. However, I felt like I couldn't get along with the landlady. I don't think it can be helped since they are compatible...

I had a comfortable and enjoyable time. The meal was satisfying, and the walk with Moko-chan was also nice. Already booked for the new year. Thank you again.

Since the end of the snow season is the Yokote Mountain/Shibu Pass Ski Resort, I chose this hotel based on its location, and it was a very good accommodation. The food was very delicious and the portions were large enough even for hungry snowboarders, and the bathhouse was spacious and had plenty of sunlight, so it felt great!Above all, the landlady was kind and friendly, and it was a warm and comfortable stay!

I stayed here with a friend about 3 years ago and am a repeat visitor. Since it was a 3-day weekend in February, I couldn't make a reservation for staying on Saturday, so I stayed the night before Friday. …

This was my first time using it. A calm lobby on the left as you enter the entrance. The fireplace had a great atmosphere. The room was comfortable and the inside of the hotel was quiet and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were also very satisfying.

Had a lovely stay at Shiga Kogen Lodge. Conveniently located in a prime location for snow sports at Yokoteyama and other multiple resorts. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. We also enjoyed relaxing in the lobby by the fireplace with Moko the dog.The onsens were clean and helped us recover from the snow sports !

Just a short walk from the Upper resorts of Shiga Kogen this hotel is ideally located. You could hypothetically ski all the way back to the hotel if you were happy to cross the road and car park. The food here is amazing and the facilities are all very clean. The hotel dog is very cute and will often sit with you for hugs. The food at the hotel is traditional Japanese and will offer things most Westerners have not tried. There are even games provided for you to use in the lobby. Additionally there is an open fireplace and the hotel has a pot of free marshmallows for you to roast. However, make sure you are familiar with how an onsen works before you book this hotel though. Otherwise you may have a shock going to this hotel as rooms do not have ensuite showers!
