I went to Kakure no Yu♨️ in Kita Karuizawa. As it is called Hidden Hot Spring♨️, the inside of the building is deserted. When you pay at the payment machine, you will be issued a QR code, and when you hold it over the machine at the end of the hallway,The door to the open-air bath opensWhen I went there, there was no one there and it was private! The water was a little hot, but the open-air bath was great 😀Please come and try it~

This was my first time going to a campsite, and the hot springs were very nice.It was nice to have hot water at the campsite, but it was freezing at -13 degrees Celsius in the morning.

I went with my family of three. Adults 1000 yen, children 500 yen. 1 indoor bath, 1 open-air bath. The size is for about 6 people. The water is quite hot, so you can't take a long bath. I think around 300 yen for adults is reasonable.

I stayed here for 1 night during GW. The place we stayed was a forest site. I thought the facilities were well-equipped and clean. The hot springs are also quite large and good. 😊The location is nice as it's close to Tokyo. However, the accommodation fee is high. I think 15,000 yen for two people for one night is a little bit. There are mountains all around, so the scenery is nothing special. Should I think of it as an equipment fee?

The rocks in the open-air bath were covered in moss and were slippery. I don't think the quality of the hot spring itself is bad. I think the price for this equipment is quite high. The staff's response was good.

A very common campsite. Pricing is too high. It's a blessing to have hot water.

I used the divided forest site at the end of October. It's like making a reservation on nap, and taking the type of plot you reserved on the day in first order. The easiest way to use the forest is in the order of 1, 2, 4, 5, and 3.River sights are 5, 7, 6, etc. in the same order. All the subdivision sites looked fairly similar. In other words, there is a possibility that you will not be able to put up a large curtain after you go, so if you want to put up a large curtain, we recommend early check-in for forest plots and river sites. The solo site is really secluded, so it seems like you can spend a quiet time there. However, toilets and water sources are far away. Surprisingly, it may be a solo site where a large number of people gather in a circle and talk. There are two large water fountains, each with hot water. This is a good point. The restrooms are located in the central administration building and washing area, and are clean and equipped with washlets. There was a temporary toilet at the end, but it wasn't clean and there was no paper. You can use the bath as much as you like during the time, but it is only open during the original business hours of the bath, so it was between 8:00 and 21:00. It does not meet the needs of wanting to warm up a cold body late in the day.The spring quality is good and the place has a nice atmosphere, but there are few washing areas. When I used it, it was empty and I was able to do whatever I wanted without stress. However, since the area is being expanded, the number of users will increase in the future, and if there are inconveniences with toilets, washing areas, and baths, it is questionable whether it is worth the price of over 10,000 yen for two people.I would like you to consider whether to improve the facilities commensurate with the expansion or lower the price.Overall, I think it's not a bad campsite.
