The food was so bad, we were served food that was past its expiration date, and there were a lot of insects in the room and hallway.

This was about 6 years ago, and I was wondering if I should post a review, but it's in my top 3. I stayed at the soccer kid's hotel for 2 days, but I was shocked. I think the owner has changed. I think it's a pension. It was Wind Hill, but if it had changed, I think it would have gotten better as everyone's reviews said.

There is a fireplace in the entrance and the atmosphere is nice. You can also eat your meals indoors, so you can eat slowly. The host doesn't seem to like to talk much, perhaps because he's shy, but the food is delicious. The scenery is nice with a view of Mt. Asama.

I shared a room with an open-air bath with a friend. It's clean and spacious, especially the bathroom, which is the best I've ever stayed in. The meals were excellent, served in the morning and evening in the room. Five stars for everything.

As mentioned in other people's reviews, it's a pension-style inn that looks a little okay when you arrive. But once I was taken to my room, all my worries disappeared! Nice room. It's spacious and well-furnished. There are also two TVs. The semi-open-air bath was also large and had a panoramic view of the surrounding cabbage fields. I went in many times.Meals served to your room in the morning and evening. My husband and I were surprised that such an elaborate array of dishes could be prepared for this amount of money. And it was delicious.Breakfast was also very satisfying. When we went out to buy drinks from the vending machine outside late at night, we were the only guests staying. It should be quiet on the street. However, I was able to relax and soak in the hot water and get rid of the fatigue from the day. I'm going to Onioshidashi tomorrow. The owner of the inn is a gentle and kind person. thank you for helping me.I want to come with my daughter next time.

Headed towards Karuizawa for the purpose of ``getting away from the heat''. At this time of year, Karuizawa's morning and evening temperatures drop, making it a perfect place to escape the heat, but lodging costs rise accordingly. I was looking for an inexpensive and satisfying accommodation, and found that although it takes about 45 minutes to travel, if you travel to the neighboring village of Tsumagoi, you can stay at a much cheaper price than in the Karuizawa area. So I chose this accommodation.[Location]The surrounding area is dotted with fields and private houses. It feels like an inn in a field. A location where you can see the majestic Mt. Asama in the distance. Perfect for feeling the slow flow of time.[Exterior/interior]It looks like it was built during the Showa ski boom. The exterior looks like, "Really? Is this the right place?" When you enter the entrance, there is a front desk on your left and a wood burning stove in front of you. The stairs and furniture are reminiscent of a generation ago. A bit of anxiety increases.【room】This time, we chose the special room "Honoka", which is the only room in the inn. My previous fears are betrayed in a good way. The room has been renovated and is clean. This room, which includes a bedroom, Japanese-style room, semi-open-air bath, toilet (washlet), and minibar, is spacious and very comfortable. Although the air conditioner is only in the bedroom, the breeze blows through at night and you can feel the cool natural breeze. From the semi-open-air bath, you can enjoy a spectacular view of Mt. Asama, and you can stay soaked for a long time. To enjoy this view, it is best to arrive early, before dinner. I was also impressed by the solidity of the facilities, such as free wifi, air purifiers and circulators, and a wide range of amenities.【cooking】Both dinner and breakfast are served in the room, and the portions are sufficient. Joshu beef shabu-shabu has soft and delicious meat. Although many of the items were ready-made, the level of satisfaction was high due to the large number of items.Contrary to any concerns about the exterior, this special room offers a high overall value for money and is a highly recommended accommodation.
