Looking at the reviews, it seems like things have changed a lot.About 20 years ago, my mother and I stayed here.I was treated so badly at this lodge that I still remember it, and the wonderful Ozenuma has been completely traumatized. Now that we can write on the internet, I think it's a bit unpleasant to bring up stories from the past, but I think you can use them as a reference as they are one aspect of mountain huts.At that time, it was a little off-season, as it was raining in the fall, and there seemed to be a few groups staying at this lodge, including us.At that time, there was a man at this lodge who looked like the father of a mountain hut, and he was intimidating from beginning to end, and he said things like, "What did you come here for?" and left. There were many times when I didn't know how to spend my time, but when I tried to ask where the people from the lodge were, I couldn't find them at all.We spent the whole time fumbling around, and the bath, which was filled with rainwater from floating leaves, was warm.It was a bit cold at night, and there was a stove burning in the hall, but when I went around with my mother, my father came over and immediately turned it off right in front of me without a word. Are the people at the lodge acquaintances in the room with the sliding glass door in the back? I saw him sitting under the kotatsu with me, inviting me to join him. ``Come, come, it's cold!'' The stove was ostentatiously turned off and we were cold and completely ignored, which made us sad.Other than a minimal explanation immediately after arriving, no one from the lodge showed their faces at all, and I have no recollection of any conversations.I had only asked for breakfast, so when I woke up and went to the dining room, it was empty and there was only enough food for two people on the table. Even after the two of us had eaten, not a single person from the lodge showed up.At that time, the father of the mountain hut told me, ``What are you people doing here who are out of place like you? Go home now.''I was young at the time and didn't know much about Ozenuma, so I don't remember much, but maybe I wasn't dressed appropriately. Since he only had jeans, it is likely that he wore them.Did that make you feel angry? When I visited Ozenuma for the first time, I was impressed with how cold and mean mountain huts were, and even though I still want to go there, I can't because of this trauma. It is certainly understandable that the mountain huts live in a special environment and are protecting Lake Ozenuma, but they are allowed to live there and are able to survive because there are customers, so how can they do that? At the time, I wondered if it was possible to live this arrogantly. Also, I would like to go to Lake Ozenuma, but I don't want to stay at this lodge or any inn where this lodge can be seen.
