I stopped by because I was tired from walking around Mt. Yahiko. I think it was after 4pm. A quiet grandmother and a very kind grandfather welcomed us. For 700 yen, you get a bath towel, face towel, and tea and sweets. The bath and changing area are traditional and very simple, but the water temperature was just right and I felt very comfortable. I got rid of my fatigue! You can leave your valuables with us.I realized later that the entrance to the changing room wasIt was just a brick (lol) (There was no door) It might make you a little worried (^-^;When I got out of the bath, I found cold tea and Japanese sweets (Wasanbon?) in a lounge-like area in a separate room so I could take a break. It was very soothing♪

Use the hot springs for a day trip for 700 yen. It was a great value as we included rental towels and bath towels for the hot spring, and we also had tea after the bath."It's lukewarm, so please take it easy," I was told repeatedly, but I think the temperature of the bathtub was normally over 40 degrees Celsius. It's not lukewarm at all. According to the hot spring ingredient list, the spring temperature is 46.4℃. . .Also, although it was a nice old-fashioned hot spring for a 700 yen day trip, I don't think I would want to spend tens of thousands of yen to stay there. It's dark, the cleanliness isn't great, the stairs are tiring, there's no Wi-Fi...

Used for day trip bathing. 700 yen including hot springs, rental towels, and tea. The downside is that some showers are unusually weak and have a low temperature, but if you use a different shower it's ok.

It was my first time staying in Yahiko, which is close to me, but this time I took advantage of the Hokuriku support discount and stayed there with my family (3 adults, 1 elementary school student) and my dog.You can even bring your dog with you and it's right next to Yahiko Shrine! That's what I decided.A very kind elderly couple took care of us, and although it was an old inn with a Showa feel, since we had a pet dog, they provided us with a room with a toilet of about 12 tatami mats and 4 tatami mats to look at. I was able to spend time withThe food is luxurious with crab, and the breakfast is healthy Japanese food! That's what it felt like.I was able to take a relaxing soak in the bath with just the right amount of hot water and feel refreshed.

Stayed here with a friend for a few days. We arrived pretty late but a sweet old lady and her husband greeted us so warmly. They showed us to our rooms and she prepared some food for us but insisted we take a bath in the onsen first. Glad we listyto her because it was just what we needed after a long day of travelling. The food was so fresh and tasted really good. There was also a cute little courtyard with koi fish swing in it.The couple spoke little to no English and thankfully I’m able to speak Japanese. Otherwise this would’ve been a google translation fest.
