When the four types of hot springs are locked, the signboards turn on to let you know when they are in use. The rice is delicious and can be prepared in a relaxed manner. However, I was concerned about the loudness of the ventilation fan in the room and the intrusion of small ants that I often saw.The bus stop is nearby, and I can easily board the return bus from the checkout, but the train doesn't arrive for an hour after I arrive at the station.

I stayed in a room with an open-air bath (Suisho-an). The room itself had a new look, was well-cleaned and had a comfortable stay. Above all, the open-air bath in the room was very nice. The amount of hot water was abundant, and every time I stepped out of the bath, cooled down, and then immersed myself up to my shoulders again, a considerable amount of hot water overflowed. It felt like a luxury to have fresh hot water all the time. The food was delicious, including the handmade ganja made by the landlady. I'm a glutton, so I ate it all, but people who don't eat much may find it a bit much. Everyone who served us was very nice, and it was a night that made us feel glad that we chose this inn. By the way, when I looked out the window from Suishoan, I saw a hot spring symbol floating in the trees. Even a little playfulness is fun and enjoyable.

Although it is located in Shima, where there are many old inns, it is well kept inside and out, and there are 4 baths that can be reserved for private use.The amenities, water, and hot water are well taken care of.The hostess and employees were very responsive, and the food was delicious and plentiful.There is also a private parking lot!

We stayed during the autumn foliage season.The room was spacious for 2 people, but I think it would be fine for 4 people.There are 6 guest rooms in total, 2 of which have baths.There are four private baths, so there is always one available.This is the perfect accommodation for people who don't like meeting other people in the bath.

It was my first time at Shima Onsen.There are 4 private baths that you can bathe in as many times as you like as long as they are empty, and the plentiful amount of hot water is very pleasant. It didn't stay cold for long and my skin became surprisingly smooth. Both dinner and breakfast were clean and nice, and everything I ate was delicious. I could really tell that the food was prepared with care using seasonal ingredients.I was very grateful that every corner of the hotel was kept well-cleaned and there were plenty of amenities.I was able to spend a very good time with the attention to detail.I would like to use it again.

This is a ryokan located in Shima Onsen. Best of all, there are four family baths, including an open-air bath, and you can use all of them for free. There are only a few guest rooms, so you can stay here many times. The staff are all kind and the food is delicious. It's a little far from the main road, so it's a hidden gem, which is really nice.

I stayed at Suishoan, which has an open-air bath.I slowly put it in at a comfortable temperature, not too hot. In addition, there are four private baths.It was nice that each one had a different atmosphere.Shima Onsen itself is old and I was worried whether it would be okay.The inside of the inn was clean and I felt comfortable.The inn also has an airy, homely feel.It was very good.The food was well prepared and delicious.However, the thing that bothered me was the stairs.The stairs had beautiful wood grain, but the steps were hard to see and I was afraid I would miss a step if I was wearing slippers.Other than that, it was wonderful and I would like to come again.

This is the first ryokan I visited.I stayed in a place with a bath in the room and it was great.The rooms are spacious and the open-air bath in the room is separated from the courtyard, giving it a special feel.There are four types of baths in the building, but the barrel bath was especially nice.By the way, it seems that the barrels change color due to the ingredients in Shima Onsen, so they have to be replaced once every 10 years, but this time it had been less than a week since they were replaced, so I was able to take a new bath.The spring quality is a little viscous and feels like it sticks to your skin, so you will feel moist after taking a bath.By the way, the room bath and the two baths in the building are open overnight, and the remaining two baths are open until 10pm.We recommend the observation bath and the barrel bath.If you bathe for a long time, the water may become hot or cold, so it is recommended that you take a bath for around 10 minutes each time.Dinner dishes include small bowls of salad, udon and tempura hand-made by the inn's chef, sashimi with cheese, and steamed rice, miso soup, and meat and vegetables.It's a lot of food if you eat it all, so I think it's best to eat slowly.By the way, the tempura was crispy, the sashimi wasn't fishy, and the udon noodles were handmade, so they had just the right amount of firmness and texture.Above all, the rice is delicious.Dessert comes after your meal, so you'll be full and satisfied.Breakfast is rice with millet, miso soup, sashimi konnyaku, grilled fish, ham, and fried egg.Everything tasted good and I was able to get a second helping of rice, so I was able to eat a lot.There are still many things I can't write about (^^;Everyone at the inn was friendly and I had no worries.The last time I visited was during the autumn leaves season, and I was satisfied with the scenery and the inn.
