Nice staff, good food, there is a bath operating for a certain time, a dry room for your ski and clothes. Very nice service with shuttle bus that can take you to the ski resort and back, I think the back one goes twice a day, at 16:30 and 17:00. The toilet is one for the floor, there is a sink in the room, nice katana style rooms.

I used it for 2 people on a tour, and it was cheap.The cost was 50,000 yen including a round trip Shinkansen (green) lift ticket, rental for 2 days, and breakfast and dinner.I made a last-minute reservation and there were no other rooms available, but I think it's a great deal for students.

Family (2 adults and 2 teens) stayed one night in Sports Plaza over a week-end. It is walking distance from the Joetsu Kokusai ski ground. The place and the rooms are very big for Japanese standards. Rooms and bathrooms are very very clean. There is a large bath/onsen , which was also very clean. The hosts are very accommodating (but you need a bit a Japanese), they arranged earlier breakfast for us and drove us to the station early morning on the Sunday. The food is good. Overall, the value for money is second to none. I would return there anytime. It's a lodge, bring your own towels !

Aussie review...The wife and I booked for two nights, the night before. The room is spacious and is traditional! The room, toilets and showers are very clean along with a men's and women's onsen.Service is great and the staff are welcoming and kind. Best know some Japanese otherwise google translate is your best mate. About a 10min walk from the station and slopes. There is a bus that picks up and drops off guests. It's a winner! Plus the food provided was sensational.Definitely would stay again! Extremely affordable and they provide lift passes.

The cleaning was perfect, the food was delicious, and the room was spacious, so I was very satisfied. It's a little far from the station, but if you ask over the phone they will pick you up.The building is showing its age, but it was well kept, so it was good.The website of the travel agency I booked said that there was no bath or toilet in the room, but perhaps by chance there was one.I would definitely like to use it again next time.
