So-called gachireto lolThis hot spring town was destroyed in a huge fire, but the buildings and interiors rebuilt in the Showa era are still in use. For example, indoor lights can be turned on and off by twisting the switch at the base of an electric light hanging from the ceiling. The toilets and hair dryers are modern and easy to use, but the bathroom tiles and faucets remain the same. The hand pump in the footbath attached to the verandah is a typical example, but the owner's ingenuity is abundant throughout. It's quite a cold region, but the fireplace in the large room that has been converted into a living room is warm. The kitchen equipment remains from the inn days, but the grill is new and the water heater is easy to use.It should be noted that the stairs to the second floor are steep and far from barrier-free.Hot springs are precious hot springs that give off a natural glow. The rare white fibrous Yunohana is slimy to the touch, and once it gets on the fibers or body and dries, it's difficult to remove, so be careful.Isn't it rare for hydrogen sulfide springs to be weakly alkaline? The water warms up, and the temperature is said to be a little lower in the morning, but it's still very hot, so you'll want to enjoy it by rubbing it in the water or taking a bath. It's a hot spring resort from the Showa era, so there are no modern facilities such as showers, so that's what you're looking for. It's a fun place to stay with a group of friends, but I don't want to tell anyone about it.There is wifi and there are no problems with the signal.

An old folk house in Niigata Prefecture had gone out of business, and a friend of mine was looking for the next old folk house, and Mr. Kaneki was there. There is a parking lot and a large bonfire. Firewood is very reasonably priced at 500 yen, with a shopping cart full to the brim. There is a swing that looks like something out of Heidi, and if you go up a little from there, there is also a building that looks like a hideout. It's a fun place to hang out with like-minded friends in a space surrounded by nature in a hot spring town.
