A mountain hut in Oze National Park where you can soak in hot springs. It was originally a hut built by Mr. Nagakura Hirano, the founder of the Nagakura hut, but his relative Mr. Dankichi Hoshi, who inherited it, opened it as a mountain hut in 1932, making it a historic hut. There seems to have been a time when it was open all year round, but the non-smoking area is only open during the summer, and in 2024 it will be open from May 18th to October 13th.This hut is located furthest from the entrance in Oze, 3 and a half hours from Oike, 4 and a half hours from Numayama Pass, 4 and a half hours from Hatomachi Pass, and 5 and a half hours from Oshimizu. There are no huts around, so you can enjoy the view of Oze to yourself. In particular, the quiet scenery in the morning and evening is a beauty that cannot be experienced anywhere else, and I think it is the perfect inn to relax in Oze.29,700 yen for 2 people per room, including 2 meals per night. I was grateful to be able to stay in a private room, but the walls were thin and unfortunately I was bothered by snoring from the room next door.Although there is no unusual menu for the meal, there were many items and I was satisfied. As the name of the hut suggests, you can bathe in the hot springs, soap is provided, but the use of shampoo is prohibited. Towels are provided, but you must provide your own bath towels. The water was nice with a slight sulfur smell.

I stayed here on October 2024.Of course, you can enjoy the wonderful scenery of Ozenuma and Ozegahara, but the hot spring hut also offers great hospitality.Three people shared one room, but the room wasn't the same size as the huts I'm familiar with.Enjoy a draft beer after checking in, or take a leisurely soak in the hot springs before dinner.Dinner and breakfast are also delicious. As the name of the hot spring hut suggests, it was a hot spring with a fairly strong hot spring that smelled like iron.I didn't use the terrace this time because there were a lot of people using it, but it seems like you can order pancakes, curry, pizza, etc. from the food menu. It's the best mountain hut I've ever stayed in...or rather, it's a hotel.

The inn was 30 minutes away from Miharashi, which is now like a resort area, and it had a very relaxing atmosphere.R6.10.12-13We were blessed with good weather this year. In normal years, the autumn leaves would be beautiful. I was disappointed that I couldn't see the autumn leaves early this year. The change at the hot spring hut was from the usual curry dinner to a set meal. Please refer to the photo.

It was 5:30 in the morning on July 7th, when Shizuoka was 40 degrees, and the temperature was 15 degrees. I don't want to go down to the lower world!

It took us four hours to arrive from Hatomachi Pass, keeping our eyes peeled for any movement in the distance along the wooden path.Dinner and breakfast were very satisfying for a mountain hut. This was my first time in Oze, and I was encouraged by the advice I received from them. It was a satisfying trip to soak in the hot springs.

2024.5.31 (Friday, rain) About 4 hours from Hatomachi Pass. A quiet and convenient location a little away from Ozegahara's main street. The bath was said to be boiling water, but it was a good bath to soothe your tiredness.
