The staff who took care of us had great footwork! The bungalow was also well made. However, since it was an art festival, there were signs prohibiting motor vehicles, which was confusing. Actually, campers were allowed to drive in by car, so I told them to hurry up and let me know!

I went to Matsushiro Castle, which is a branch castle of Kasugayama Castle in Joetsu-etsu and is a designated regional cultural property of Tokamachi City.As it is a branch castle of Kasugayama Castle, it can only be reached by following a steep path. The castle was built by a military commander named Tadakatsu Kazama, but it was later used by the Kazama, Nagao, and Uesugi clans. There are good hot springs and the famous rice terraces of Hoshitoge nearby, so I think it's a good idea to stop by when you're there.
