It was conveniently located a little bit up Daisanzaka, close to the famous churches, the photo spot Hachimanzaka, and the Mt. Hakodate Ropeway. Both dinner and breakfast course meals were delicious and satisfying. The bath was a family bath, but it was a calm bath like a mini hot spring, and I was able to heal my fatigue. The owner and his wife were very friendly and we had a lot of fun talking to them. There were many posters and photos on the walls of the facility, but it didn't feel too bothersome, and I felt that the owner had good taste. If I have a chance to go to Hakodate again, I would like to stay here again.

I went to a B&B in 2015. It was on top of a large slope. There were many attractions to visit nearby, and there was a market at the port. The lady boss was very kind and could speak English. I haven’t been there for ten years and the memory is still very deep. I look forward to chatting in Japanese next time. .

Some rooms require climbing stairs, which hurt your feet.

This pension is in an old Japanese house and the pension is run by a lovely friendly couple. We had a room with an ensuite though most of the rooms do not have ensuites and there are shared bathroom facilities which we did not use. …
