This is a pension near Mt. Hakodate!I was a little nervous because I made the reservation based on word of mouth, but they were really nice people and it was fun! There are three generations living here, and they even have grandchildren, so I was able to ask them a lot about sightseeing spots in Hakodate! Many of the guests were from other countries and we even had conversations in English! There was no supermarket nearby, so it would be better to buy drinks at a nearby drugstore. This time we were sightseeing at Mt. Hakodate at night, so we didn't have much conversation!

The decor is antique, with lots of cute decorations in the lobby. The rooms are well-equipped, but other accommodations may be more suitable for those who mind shared bathrooms and mobility issues. In addition to the hardware equipment, the service here is also very good, and the boss and the landlady are very enthusiastic. The location is very good, you can walk directly to the Kanamori Red Brick Warehouse and Hakodate Million Night View Cable Car Station.

My sisters and I stayed here on August 15th. They were very kind to me. He took a photo for me as a souvenir and gave me a present before I left. They even gave me sweets to eat in the car. The room was also clean and comfortable. thank you very much.

Stayed for one night in April. I can totally attest to what the other reviews say – the room was very clean, the common area was nicely decorated with Totoro items, and the hosts provided very good hospitality and was enjoyable to talk to (even with limited Japanese ability)One thing to note - out of the shower rooms, the shower with the ofuro (bathtub) appeared to be the women’s bathroom. We were informed that the other guest were not using the shower so we had unlimited access to it, but if there was, I am not sure of it.I was very impressed and would not hesitate to say here again if I am ever back in Hakodate.

The hosts, Oto-san and Oka-san, are wonderful people, who, through their kindness and by going the extra mile, made my stay unforgettable. It was raining the first evening, so Oto-san brought me to the Onsen in his car. He also prepared a souvenir before I left. Besides that, the house is charming and the room was clean as well as spacious. A hidden gem in Hakodate - no wonder it is often booked out. If I could, I would give 6 stars 🤩

The two owners are so kind, delicate, and nice.I stayed for a total of 2 nights on 7/8 and 7/9.1. We were picked up at Hakodate Station. If you let us know your arrival time by phone in advance, the owner will come pick you up.2. It was nice that they gave us a glass of water in the reception room on the first floor as soon as we arrived.3. They gave me my passport, wrote down my guest information, and took a picture. They later engraved my name on the picture and chopsticks. Thank you for the gift.4. The accommodation was decorated with Totoro and other cute items, and it had a friendly feel, which was nice.5. The accommodation is very clean. It's perfectly fine except for sharing a bathroom/shower room with other guests.6. It was great that the bathroom/shower room/teeth brushing room and washroom were all well maintained.7. I want to come again next time

Simply lovely all around. The hospitality starts with the amazing hosts, who welcomed us profusely and even cleaned our luggage wheels to spotless while we were exploring the city (something definitely not included in the room rate...). …

The hosts were so sweet. We arrived quite late and hungry and they called up restaurants for us to see if they were open and had space. They were super helpful and gave us the cutest picture and chopsticks souvenir. The room was great and comfy. It's pretty close to the tram stop. I would happily go here again if I'm visiting Hakodate!
