I stayed here for the purpose of riding the Kaetsunou bus and enjoying the hot springs. The bus stop from Takaoka Station is right near Zuisenji Temple.Although it is an inn with a long history, having been founded in the Genroku era, it was not formal and I felt very relaxed. I can see Zuisenji Temple outside my window and wake up in the morning to the sound of the temple bell. The accommodation fee is so low that you wouldn't expect it to be a one-night stay with two meals included, so I'm sorry.

The proprietress is incredibly kind and it truly feels like staying in a historical japanese home. The room has some fine details such as wood-carving work local to Inami. The view of the temple is quite special. But what really elevated the whole experience was the food! Incredibly hearty home-cooked food with particularly selected local ingredients. Way above its price in quality. A super experience overall. The only issue for me was that the air-con in the room is somewhat old. It makes noise and it's not very effective.

It makes me feel nostalgic and calm. It feels like all kinds of things are flowing out from around the inn and touching my heart. What is this? It's fun to be able to stimulate your imagination. It's not only old, but also has a well-used shine to it.The food is also full of deliciousness that you won't find anywhere else. I wondered if it was really worth the price.I woke up in the morning to the sound of a bell. The landlady, who looks a bit like Ayumi Ishida, is also friendly and likable.

It's a long-established inn with a long history. The building itself is quite shaky. The bathroom also has a homely feel. However, many famous people stay here. And the food in general is amazing. It's stunning

I came here for one night with my wife on February 11th and 12th. Ever since I visited Zuisenji Temple, I had been interested in the historic Tozanso. It seems to be called (Touzansou). When you step inside, you can say it's Showa retro and Taisho romance! I thought it was wonderful. We were given a nice room with a view of Zuisenji's Sanmon gate and stone walls. I took a family bath before dinner. This is also a very nice Showa retro bath. The hot water is warm, and there is no time limit, so you can take it easy and time seems to go by slowly. Of course, shampoo conditioner, hair dryer, etc. are provided. Then we went to dinner in the next room. This kaiseki cuisine is also delicious. wonderful. After eating, I asked for a beer in my room and enjoyed it while looking at the Sanmon Gate.In the morning, I woke up to the sound of the Zuisenji bell at 6am, and went to work at 7am. It was fresh and nice. Then we had breakfast, which was also delicious. Then I took a bath in the morning and was very satisfied.Higashizanso was a very satisfying inn, with a retro feel, history, and delicious food. The main points were of course well taken care of, and the hostess was friendly and talked to me about all kinds of things.Sorry, this is a long post, but I want everyone to know.

Traditional Japanese cuisine inn that was founded and started their business at about 1700 and has worked for pilgrim's lodging. If you like Japanese traditional inn, it's good small inn. The cooking is Japanese cuisine and enough. Next morning 7:00 AM, you can get the chance of morning chanting together in Buddhist temple in front of it.
