I had a very bad experience.I asked a Japanese friend to help me make a reservation using this incomprehensible website. The website first requires you to fill out a form. It also asks us to respect a bunch of ridiculous and ridiculous rules. For example, they ask you to arrive before 3pm. If he doesn't, he says, he'll be "very worried."I am traveling 600km from the Sea of Japan to the Pacific coast, crossing the mountains in between. Therefore, it was impossible to arrive before 3pm and there were no other mountain huts available in the area.We had no choice but to get there anyway, so when we arrived at 1:30am, naturally, there was no one there. However, there was a room on the upper floor with a futon spread out, so I left my ¥10,000 and passport at the front desk and my backpack at the entrance. After a little sleep, at 4:30am a bright light shined in my face and a screaming Japanese woman called me an idiot and accused me of how I got into their house! After some very careful negotiation, they calmed down a bit and offered me coffee and bread.I was surprised that he never asked me why I arrived so late or how I was feeling. To be honest, I wasn't feeling well. We had originally planned to stay at this lodge. However, when I arrived at 1:30am, I felt extremely tired and wasn't sure if I would be able to continue up the mountain. We had run out of food and were unsure whether we would be able to reach the next lodge safely. But because they were so aggressive and mean to me, I still decided to climb the mountain. That day was very difficult. I was lost and exhausted on a high mountain during a thunderstorm. The attitude of the people at this lodge and the ridiculous rules and regulations almost caused an accident on the mountain.I don't know if this is racism or just stupidity. The owners of this lodge may think they are doing these things as a way to stay safe. But her old-style military mindset actually poses a danger to everyone.I urge this lodge and its owners to reconsider their ridiculous rules and start treating people with respect and kindness.I am writing this to you because I am tired of such poor treatment from lodge and business owners in Japan. I have been traveling this country for 23 years. I understand Japanese culture very well. There are no problems with language, reading, or writing. Many lodges are polite, kind, understanding and helpful, but this is not one of them. Many Japanese also agreed that the lodge has management issues that need to be fixed. Please consider changing.thank you for understanding.
