Around 12:40 during a three-day weekend bike tour in OctoberI visited here for a day trip bath.Take a bath in advance to enjoy this natural cave bath.I checked the time. From 10:00 to 14:00,Reception is open until 13:30.You cannot enter on days when cleaning is scheduled. There is no washing area in the cave bath. After paying ¥1,000 at the reception desk, first go to the indoor bath with a washing area. The front desk is on the 2nd floor, so take the elevator or stairs to the 1st floor.Indoor bath and open-air bath made of cypress tub, the river in front of you is a ``stream''After changing, go to the promenade from the sign next to the parking lot.Seasonally, stink bugs seem to be popping up in large numbers this year.A huge number were flying. 😣It takes 7-8 minutes to walk across the ``Yunosebashi'' over the stream.Arrived at the cave bath!I happened to be lucky and had it reserved. 😊Hot water dripping down like hot waterI tried the hot water, but it was a little hot.On the way here, there is a place that looks like a source and there is a hot spring pipe.I was taken to a hotel.Relax in the open-air bath with clear, colorless waterI was able to enjoy the best hot springs ever.

This historic hot spring inn, celebrating its 400th anniversary, is truly a hidden gem. This hot spring, which was discovered in the early Edo period and is said to have sprung up due to the oracle of Yakushi Nyorai, has been popular as the ``baby hot spring'' since ancient times. The cave bath in particular is designated as a natural monument, and it is attractive that you can take a bath while feeling the power of nature. From the open-air bath exclusively for guests, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of each season, especially during the fresh green season. In addition, the dishes made with plenty of local ingredients are exquisite, and you can enjoy fresh seafood from Toyama Bay and delicacies from the mountains. For breakfast, boiled tofu and porridge made with hot spring water are served, allowing you to feel the blessings of the hot springs from within.Furthermore, there is a Yakushi-do Hall near the inn, where you can receive prayers for fertility. Many people who have actually visited the hot springs say they are impressed by the effectiveness of the hot springs and vow to visit again. It's a place where you can spend a time to heal your mind and body, which makes sense with the 4.8/5 star rating. Please visit once and experience its charm for yourself.

I stayed with my relatives in 3 rooms. I was depressed when I discovered on the way to the car that I had forgotten everything from makeup remover to skin care. I apologize for the inconvenience, but since it's an old inn, I thought they wouldn't have cleansing products (sorry), but when I arrived at my room, I found a Sekkisei sleepover set, which made me very happy! There was also a sheet mask for the face, which got me excited! I also forgot to bring baby soap for my one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, but I was impressed to find baby soap in the public bath!Although it is old as everyone's reviews say, the room was clean and spacious enough, the food was very delicious with many dishes using Toyama's famous white shrimp, etc., and the hot springs were also pleasant! This is a ryokan that I would like to visit again.

It was a very satisfying stay❗️Anyway, the customer service is good. All the staff will provide you with heartfelt hospitality. At the end of the road after passing through the tunnel, there is only one hotel. The hotel is old but well maintained. There are many types of yukata to choose from ♡It's also great that you can rent Nanoe hair dryers and hair irons.I have Sekkisei basic cosmetics in my room, which is really surprising! In the public bath, you can choose shampoo, conditioner, and body soap.Everything from makeup remover to facial cleanser. The deliciousness of natural water after taking a bath.Cypress tub open-air bath located next to the large bath on the first floorAn open-air rock bath facing the river on the second floor. And there is a cave open-air bath about 7 minutes walk from the hotel.Open-air bath for women only.It seems to be the original hot spring of Ogawa Onsen, and of course it is fed directly from the source. The hot water is colorless and transparent, leaving your skin soft and smooth. It's really good hot water. At this time of year, there are a lot of insects here, and there are a lot of horseflies, which the locals call Ororo.Particular attention should be paid to open-air baths.I was also stung, but the hotel staff quickly brought me medicine, which I was grateful for. This time I had a value plan, so I felt like the food was a little lacking, so I would like to make a reservation early next time.It was an inn where I was very satisfied with the hospitality!

The room feels clean. I was bitten by a horsefly in the open-air hot spring bath. The sashimi is very delicious, but the amount is small, so I would give it 4 stars.

Used for day trip bathing.Due to limited time on my day trip, I was not able to take a bath in the rock bath, but the atmosphere of the hotel and the quality of the spring water in the public bath were perfect. It's better to stay at a place like this and enjoy it slowly, so I felt that my rating would be higher if I stayed overnight or took a bath in the rock bath.
