I was welcomed like family, and I returned home fully immersed in the kindness and hospitality of the couple. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to hear so many different stories and have had such valuable experiences. If you are thinking of staying here, please remember that you are just visiting a ``private home'' or ``someone else's home'' and staying overnight.

Uncle and auntie, the owners of the house are very cute, very good service, delicious food, spacious rooms. The area around the house is beautiful. Facilities may not be complete. But this is a homestay. It might be a little cold in the house.

The highlight of our trip! We were so glad that we chose to stay here over Shirakawago because of the amount of tourists there. |The hosts were super nice and friendly. …

It’s a very warm place. The boss and the landlady are very friendly and heart-warming. The meals prepared are very delicious. They are very considerate and even made children’s meals for the children. They were worried that we would be cold when we slept. They also prepared a thermos for us to keep the quilt warm. It's very comfortable. Although Gokayama is smaller than Shirakawago, it is very concentrated and allows you to deeply feel the atmosphere of Gassho Village❤️I will come again next time!

It was a wonderful and comfortable inn 🤗We used Mr. Shiro Yomoshiro for our wedding anniversary trip for a couple with a combined age of 111 years. Above all, the warm personality and hospitality of the husband and wife was the best. The bath, washroom, toilet, living room, and room were all very clean and comfortable. All of the gently seasoned dishes were delicious, especially the rock fish that the host grilled in the irori hearth. I was able to eat the whole head first😋In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, only two groups were allowed to stay, but the other group was a 19-year-old young man (traveling alone) who had come to Japan from Australia. I had a really fun time sitting around the hearth with him, talking in broken English and Japanese, and having him explain Kokiriko, a traditional Gokayama culture. It was a blissful time🤗Last but not least, the gassho-zukuri style building has a wonderful atmosphere both inside and outside, and it was a wonderful and relaxing inn❣️
