This is my second Mercure hotel, but like last time, I think the crowds at check-in and meal times will be manageable.

Had a great stay. The staff works very hard. I think the hotel needs a few extra hands. Be prepared for queues during check-in, dinner and breakfast. Thanks for the great stay.

Posting at different times. From Zenkoji to Sansai Station, I bought some souvenirs at Tsuruya and stayed at Mercure Matsushiro.Buffet for dinner and breakfast.Actually, I wasn't expecting that much, but this is quite high quality.Seafood, roast beef, and hamburgers are made right in front of you, so of course there are Nagano specialties. You can also eat ramen and have unlimited Shine Muscat.All-you-can-drink beer, sake, and more.Even if your stomach is bloated, there's no reason not to go as the lounge is included after entering the hot springs.Eat and drink until you're tired and you're at the height of happiness. And even though it's all-inclusive, the price is about the same as staying at a regular hotel, so it's no wonder it's highly rated.A car is required, but if you are looking for a place to stay nearby, this is the place for you.

As everyone has written, the wait for check-in is too long...There was a scene where a guest who was about to go out and was waiting for more than 10 people asked for sightseeing information directly from the front desk clerk who was checking in, instead of waiting in line, and as expected, he was asked to get in line. As expected, I spread out the sightseeing map and started giving directions...Meanwhile, there was a long line for the dinner buffet, and the four front desk staff left the counter all at once, leaving about a dozen people waiting to check in. 7 to 8 minutes passed without leaving it.There is also a problem with guests who ask for tourist information without waiting in line, but I wonder if the front staff who tolerates this and gives tourist information is a minor problem...The cleanliness of the room and the quality of the large public bath are outstanding. At the check-in stage, I personally have no repeat visits.

Used on a group tour trip on 10/10. I received an explanation at the front desk, but I was surprised by the harsh tone of the older female staff member. "Here's your toothbrush!" he said.Although it may be difficult to deal with about 30 people at once, I wish they would have handled the situation with more elegance and class. The front desk staff at check-out in the morning is an old man wearing a white sweatshirt. As soon as I entered the room, it smelled! It was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but it smelled like cigarettes. There's no way the cleaning staff wouldn't notice this smell, so I think it's normal. Very difficult for non-smokers.Even though it was a weekday, the lounge was crowded.Dinner started at 5:30pm, but there was a long line. I was able to reserve a seat on LINE, so I registered around 6:40pm and my turn arrived in about 10 minutes. It's convenient because you don't have to wait in line. You can find directions to the restaurant online, but it's a good idea to check the details, check how crowded the restaurant is, and make reservations. The buffet included all-you-can-drink and had a wide variety of items. There were many cooking demonstrations, which I enjoyed.I went to take a bath when people were rushing in for dinner, and my skin felt smooth in the open-air bath.I don't think I would like to stay there again. Because the room stinks♪
