I stayed in a separate room.It's a traditional Japanese house, very quaint and very nice.There are no toilets, baths, or washroom facilities in the house, but it's not an inconvenience as they are all right there as soon as you leave the room.Although it is an old building, it is very well maintained and beautiful.For example, the toilet has a Western-style washlet, the air conditioner is a high-performance wall-mounted air conditioner, the shoji and tatami mats seem to have been replaced as appropriate, and the room is thoroughly cleaned.The bath is not a hot spring and has a boiling water system, but it can be reserved for private use with no time limit, and it is convenient and nice to be able to adjust the temperature to your liking.The meal plan is breakfast only, but it is very elaborate and each dish is very delicious.It's a little far from the city center of Toyama, but it's quiet and relaxing, so personally, it didn't bother me at all.Finally, as a personal evaluation, if you rate it on a 5-point scale,Cooking: 5Bath: 4Service: 5I will say that.

The rooms had a Japanese feel and were very nice.The service was good and the breakfast was delicious.There are only five guest rooms, so you can use the bath whenever you like as long as no other guests are in the room.It's quite spacious and can accommodate about 4 people without any problems (it's not separated by gender, so be careful if you come in a group).It was nice to have a pub within walking distance.However, it is far from the station... Etchu Yao is the closest one, but it takes about 25 minutes to walk.

This is a historic and quaint building where Lord Tokugawa Yoshinobu also stayed.The rooms, toilets, baths, and hallways are all clean. It is very carefully managed.And the breakfast is amazing and delicious. This might be my favorite breakfast at any hotel I've ever stayed at.

A ryokan in the middle of town that retains an old-fashioned atmosphere.It was well-maintained while still retaining its old feel.I also appreciated the coffee service.I used it during the Kaze no Bon period, and I was very satisfied with the polite and kind service I received.I understand that it is busy during the busy season, but I felt that the food service speed was slow. I had purchased tickets for the stage dance in advance through the inn, so they should have known the time, so I was hoping that they would at least provide the food in time for that date.

This is an elegant inn. Foreigners will be happy [The following is quoted from the website] Yao Town, Toyama Prefecture, where our hotel is located, is a small town that has developed into a highway located in the southwestern part of the Toyama Plain, at the foot of the Hida Mountains, and on the prefectural border with Gifu Prefecture. The name is said to come from the eight mountain ridges that extend from the Hida mountains to Etchu. Speaking of Yao Town, the first thing that comes to mind is Etchu Owara. This festival, called ``Kaze no Bon'', is held for three days from September 1st to 3rd every year, and the entire town is decorated with Etchu Owarabushi. Our hotel, located in Yao, is a long-established inn that has been around since the late Edo period. If you come to Yao, a town where ancient culture is alive, please come to Miyata Ryokan.

Last year, I made a reservation for spring during the Owara Kaze Obon period.I was actually looking forward to winning the lottery before the coronavirus, but it was canceled and I had to try again last year. Everyone at the hotel was very kind, and the young girls (who would be dancing) served us pleasantly. I would like to visit you again.

We stayed as a group of 3 including a child under 2 years old. It has a very nice atmosphere, and since there are no beds, you can stay with peace of mind even with small children. We also provide supplies for children.I only had breakfast for breakfast, but it was delicious and very satisfying.The employees were very responsive and the interior design was quaint, so I had a really fun stay!

It is a long-established inn that has been around since the late Edo period, so it was a wonderful and tasteful inn. We stayed in a 12-14 tatami Japanese-style room called an annex. The room itself was spacious and had hanging scrolls and folding screens, making it a room where you could fully enjoy the Japanese feel. There are no baths or toilets in the rooms, but this can't be helped if the building is from a long time ago. We are grateful that the traditional Japanese building has been carefully preserved and is still being operated as an inn. Japanese houses tend to get cold in the winter, but the room was properly heated and I was able to spend a comfortable time without feeling cold inside. The people at the hostel are also very kind.

A quaint and calm inn. It was quiet and relaxing as it was not tourist season. All of the breakfasts were elaborate and had a large number of items, and since there were a lot of items to go with the rice, I ended up changing them many times.

I like this atmosphere. An image of an inn where literary greats would drop by. The whole area inside the hotel is beautiful and elegant, but the room was especially perfect for relaxing and relaxing. However, the bath and toilet have been renovated in a modern style. There was a book by Rie Shibata in the hallway. The inn is located on a hill, and the view along the way is clear and beautiful.

Rie Shibata's mother's family home was burnt down by people who were so angry at how pathetic they were when a commercial featuring Shibata as a toilet was aired. (That's a joke)😊

I came here because I wanted to experience Yao on a day other than Kazebon, and it was a nice and quaint inn. The bath and toilet were new and clean, and the breakfast was luxurious and delicious. This is a great deal for around 7,000 yen per night including breakfast.
