I stayed here for one night from Monday, December 26, 2022.It's been a while since we've been on a family trip, so we chose this guesthouse because we wanted a Japanese-style room that could accommodate four adults and one boy (infant). The accommodation website said that a reservation was required for the shuttle bus, so I called to confirm and was told that I would be picked up when I arrived at JR Himi Station, so please call me, so I was relieved that no reservation was necessary.Check-in is from 16:00 to 18:00, and we checked in at 16:00. At the guest house, a kind grandmother will welcome you. This time I was guided to a Japanese-style room named ``Tuna''. There was already a futon laid out in the room, so I laid it down right away. There was no smell of cigarettes, there was Wi-Fi, and it was comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast in the Japanese-style room next door with the fusuma doors open. We were probably the only guests staying in the room, so we were able to use it spaciously. They also provided tables and chairs for children. You can choose from 18:00~, 18:30~, or 19:00~ for dinner time. Breakfast time is from 7:30am. All the dishes were delicious, especially the yellowtail radish and tempura we had for dinner! The children's dinner was cold, so I asked them to reheat it, which they happily did. I think the child probably didn't warm up the food too much because he thought he couldn't eat hot food, or the temperature was too low and the food got cold. Breakfast was the same as for adults. The guest rooms at ``Tuna'' do not have a toilet, sink, or bath, so I used the bathroom right next to the room after leaving the room, and the sink and bath on the basement floor. The bath is Himi Natural Hot Spring, a sodium chloride spring, and can be used from check-in to 11pm and from 6am to check-out. The temperature of the hot spring felt quite hot even for adults. For children, I think it's a good idea to put hot springs and water in a tub and then pour the hot spring water over their bodies. Thanks to the ingredients in the hot springs, I felt warmed from the core of my body even after taking a bath. The cold water from the water server tasted very good.Check-out was at 9:30, and cashless payment was also available. Also, the shuttle bus that took me to Himi Banya Street was very helpful. What I found disappointing was that it was quite cold outside the guest room, so it was a bit painful to use the restroom or the changing room in the bath (on the contrary, it was just right after bathing), and other things. As mentioned in the review, are there personal items on the shelf in the dressing room? lost item? It doesn't feel very clean, as there are a lot of them. However, we are not germaphobes, so we were able to have a relaxing and fun time as if we were visiting our grandma's house, so we thought it was great.
