I'm generally satisfied with the cleanliness and service, but I felt it was inconvenient that it was a little far from the station. It would be fine if it was just me, but my senior parents were with me.Also, it was annoying to hear music being played in the hallway all the time.Having Wi-Fi and three USB ports was very helpful.

I have been staying here regularly for over 25 years. At first, the business was run by a husband and wife who were run by the previous owner (who is still working very well today☺), but their son also came back from Mito (surprisingly close to my hometown of Hitachi) and the business was run by the second generation. Masu. At the time of my first visit, tourism in Matsumoto was on the rise, and since I was a regular customer, I was able to get a much cheaper rate. It seems like things have been tough for the past three years due to the coronavirus, and when I make a reservation, I'm often told that the prices will be a little higher this year, but the prices are almost the same as they were in the late 1990s. I receive New Year's cards every year, and I'm getting a lot older, so I don't know how long I'll be able to go to Matsumoto, but I'd like to stay with you for a long time 😊

I think it's a good place to walk around Matsumoto Castle and its surroundings, but the restaurants are concentrated in front of the station, so it might be inconvenient if you don't have a car.If you park your car in front of the hotel, the hotel will drive you into the parking lot. The response from the front desk was mediocre. The elevators are old and slow, so you may have to wait a long time during busy periods, which can be frustrating. The dining room is on the 2nd floor and the public bath on the 3rd floor, so the flow lines are not dispersed. The room does not have an automatic lock, so you will need to lock the door when entering and exiting. The room size is average, but you can hear the sound of the river when you open the window. The large public bath seemed to be an afterthought, and I felt like there was no air conditioning in the bathroom. It's nice this time of year, but I think summer is hell. There are three washing areas, but only two are actually usable. The same goes for the bathtub.I'm grateful to have a bath, but the shampoo conditioner provided is cheap and makes my hair dry, and the water-saving shower looks like it has a lot of water pressure, but it doesn't remove any bubbles. After using two showers, I finally got a normal shower level. It's a large public bath where men and women are rotated at different times, which leaves a lot of dissatisfaction. This time I came here for some errands, but if the price is the same, I think it's more convenient to stay at a hotel near the station, and it's closer to the downtown area. It's worth the price...I think it's a little more expensive. When comparing the price range, I thought it would be a good idea to compare it with a hotel without a large public bath, as it would be a good idea to have a large public bath of this level. The effectiveness of the air conditioner and the sound of the river were great.I think the rooms are well cleaned.

Although the building is old, it was well maintained and there were no problems. Unfortunately, the outside window of the observation elevator was dirty and I couldn't get a good view of the scenery. There was an air purifier with humidification function in each room. When I let the ceiling-mounted air conditioner swing, it made strange noises, so I stopped it. It would have been nice if the refrigerator had a power off switch. The coffee maker in each room is equipped with a cartridge for one cup and is a self-drip type. From the second cup onward, each cartridge costs 100 yen. (photograph)There is only one bath in the bathroom, and the bathing area is open to both men and women. There are 3 washing areas and 5 people can fit in, so it might get crowded depending on the time of day. There are several public bathhouses within walking distance, so it might be a good idea to enjoy the local atmosphere. The location was far from the station, but it was a good walk to Matsumoto Castle, Nawate Street, and Yohashira Shrine. The road along the river in front of you is one-way, so you will have to enter from the east side. The parking lot is a type where you leave the key of the car you have, so it would be best to avoid using it with super cars, foreign cars, Land Cruisers, and other cars with peculiarities such as Shakotan and high lift. It costs 500 yen per night. There is a 7-Eleven convenience store within a 7-8 minute walk, Aeon Mall in the opposite direction, and many other restaurants.I would say it was reasonable and worth the price, but it was worth it.

The good thing about this inn is the low price. And the location. Although it is far from the station, it is close to sights, shopping, and nightlife. The grounds are small, the rooms are small, the equipment is old, the internet is fast, but the elevators are extremely slow. The worst part was that the baths I was hoping for were gender-separated, and men were only open until 6 pm or late at night and early in the morning. And if three people enter, it will be full. I knew it was an artificial hot spring, but I wasn't sure about this, so I thought I'd choose a super hotel near the station.
