The accomodation is well maintained and clean. Staff service is wonderful. We stayed in a Japanese room for 3 pax. Do note that the mattress futon was rather firm and may not be the most comfortable to sleep on. The dinner and breakfast was very good.

I stayed in a tent and stopped by to use the hot springs. After taking a bath, I had a cold draft beer in the lounge. The bathroom and lounge seemed to be well-cleaned, and the staff were kind.

The main reason I chose this lodge instead of the neighboring lodge was because the next day's hike was going to take a long time, passing through the Great Killet, so I wanted to save even just 7 minutes. I was interested because I had previously met a veteran at Mt. Hotaka Mountain Villa who emphasized that the steak here was delicious, and I had read a novel that was set here. True to the rumors, the Shinshu beef steak was very delicious. Due to the season, if you are alone, you can only stay in a shared room, but if you are in a private room with two or more people, you will receive sashimi such as Shinshu salmon. The negative point was that, perhaps because it was a popular inn, there were tour guests, so the bathroom was so crowded that we had to wait for the washing area and for the hair dryer. Older tour passengers don't turn off notifications on their smartphones and fall asleep, causing notifications to ring out. I know this happens when I go to Mt. Fuji, but I can't believe I can experience it in the Northern Alps as well. Even so, the design of the shared room made it feel like a private room, so it felt very private. The food is delicious, so even with some negative external factors, it's still a perfect mountain hut.

A beautiful mountain hut surrounded by Japanese elms.In spring, if you look ahead to the two-flowered grass, it will be a wonderful carpet.I don't know how many times I used it.For those visiting Tokusawa from Kamikochi,I've heard that the probability is 1 in 100.Both dinner and breakfast are delicious.Coffee made with special water,My friends also approved of it.Lights go out at 9 o'clockThere is enough electricity to charge your mobile phone. Is the maximum capacity of the bath for 6 people? The staff came frequently to adjust the temperature, and I think about 5 friends can fit in the bathtub. That's how wide it is.The common room is also clean and has a wood burning stove. There is a rocking chair. There is a campsite next to it.Next door is Tokuzawaen.Convenient for climbing Mt. Chogatake. You can also take a day trip to Karasawa. To Tokuzawa and YokooIt's a relatively flat road, soIt's easy to walk. The location rating is 5.From the bus terminalAlthough it is a place that takes about 2 hours,The facilities are well maintained,The staff are also very nice. Please use it for mountain climbing or trekking to get a feel of the Northern Alps.

I stayed here on my way to Karasawa Curl. The lodge had a calm atmosphere, the baths and flush toilets were clean, and we were able to enjoy lunch and tea during breaks. The beef stew for dinner was delicious, and the next morning I ordered a bento box, and the chimaki and shumai were also very delicious.

This is my first time using it. I stayed in the cheapest Western-style room, but it was spacious enough and had bunk beds, so up to 4 people could stay there. The staff are all attentive and comfortable.I think the drying room is also good and well maintained. Shared washrooms are separated by gender.I also thought that the manners of the guests were generally good.Dinner is served at the cafeteria from 5:30, and the main dish is beef stew, but there are a wide variety of delicious dishes.Furthermore, if you are coming from a mountain hike, it is best to take a bath that is equipped with soap and shampoo conditioner. We also recommend that you bring tissue paper with you.

I stayed with my partner on a weekday in June. Previously, I passed through Tokusawa and climbed all the way to Karasawa, but this time I mainly took a leisurely stroll around Kamikochi and Tokusawa. …
