I went there last fall.It pretends to be a first-class hotel, but the service is anything but. It's better to think of it as a high-class mountain hut.Although it is located at the top of a mountain, I felt that many of the employees seemed to be licking the mountain. I feel that the customer service is uneducated and cross-legged.When I was staying there, I took a bus tour to the top of the mountain, but there were people walking with umbrellas in the middle of strong winds and diagonal rain, and I was guided around without paying any attention to them. It felt very dangerous. What would you do if it flew off and hit someone? I wondered if he really loved Utsukushigahara even though he would be trash even if he didn't win.Also, after I returned from my trip, I looked at Instagram and noticed that the employee who was posting was strongly condemning the culprit, saying that there was a person who had dumped trash in Ougagami, which showed a lack of dignity. I felt it.I think it's a great hotel in terms of history and location, but I can't say that the quality of the employees is that good.I want you to learn more about hospitality and mountains and make an effort.As it is now, I don't think I want to go there again.

I ate soft-serve ice cream 🍦 at the cafe at Ogatou Hotel.It was thick, had just the right amount of sweetness, had a very delicious raw milk flavor, and was the most delicious soft serve ice cream I've ever had. (400 yen) Highly recommended! It's so delicious that you'll get addicted to it! ✨

This is the place where I always eat soft serve ice cream. I've never stayed there, but it's a good location and I'd like to stay there someday and see it.Access is by walking from the parking lot via the Tower of Beauty. The path I walk on also feels good.
