The food at the restaurant is surprisingly delicious. It would be a waste to go out to eat at a restaurant!

This accommodation is located in a villa area called Minamigaoka in Karuizawa.Because it was built as a corporate retreat rather than for profit purposes, the building coverage and floor area ratios are luxurious.Although the building is showing its age, the entrance and dining room have an atrium that is about 6 meters high, giving it a very open feel. The food is based on the background of the chef who is in charge of the operation, and the current chef serves Western cuisine, which is extremely delicious and full of hospitality.Since the occupancy rate is low if the facility is only used by executives and employees of the company that owns it, the facility is opened to the general public at a reasonable price in order to maintain the facility. All of the surrounding villas are magnificent, and it makes me feel that there are many wealthy people in Japan who don't show off. However, if you own your own vacation home, it will be difficult to maintain and manage it, and you will feel restricted, so I think it would be better to pay and stay whenever and wherever you want.Having said that, recently inbound tourism has become over-tourism, and it is becoming difficult for us Japanese people to stay overnight there, so I think it would be a good idea to watch YouTube videos at home and drink some food.I've gone off topic. . . Looks like things are going well later.

This is a resort run by Sojitz, a general trading company. It also operates as a hotel, perhaps because it is rarely used as a resort. The Western-Japanese room had 2 beds and 3 futons, and was spacious enough to accommodate up to 5 people. There was a large two-door refrigerator, a toilet with a washlet, and a large bathroom. From our room and dining room, we could see the red and yellow maple trees planted in the large garden, and while we ate breakfast, we could see the falling autumn leaves in our eyes. Although it feels old, the dining room is a fine RC building with a ceiling height of 6m. The property has plenty of space and is located in an area that has been around for a long time, making it a relaxing place to stay. The large public bath has a washing area for 4 people and a bathtub that can accommodate 5 people, but since there are few guests, it is spacious enough. I'm glad that there is a large public bath. It feels like a small resort rather than a hotel. There aren't any vending machines, so you're welcome to bring your own, but you can buy your favorite drinks and food at the nearby Tsuruya store. I felt very comfortable thanks to the kind staff. After checking out, we enjoyed viewing the autumn leaves in the beautiful garden on the premises. I want to stay here again.

landscapeIt was a very scenic place surrounded by greenery. There was an extraordinary feeling of being in Karuizawa, and just looking at the view from the room in the morning was worth the trip.roomAlthough the building is not new, it is well-maintained and well-built, so you can spend a comfortable time here. There is a washlet and refrigerator in the room, and there is also Wi-Fi, so it is comfortable. There are no vending machines, so you will have to bring your own. There is a large supermarket called Tsuruya about 2 km away that also sells souvenirs.dinnerIt was an appetizer, salad, 2 main dishes, dessert and a course meal. It was beautifully presented on beautiful tableware and tasted very good. The waiter was also smiling and very kind.bathThere were four washing areas, separated into men's and women's baths. In this case, I think it would be better for the family to make it a family bath style. However, I wonder if this format is better considering people who come from mixed-gender circles.entertainment roomThere was one table tennis table that you could use for free. The child's excitement skyrocketed.wallIt's possible that the other guests were quiet, but I couldn't hear any noise next door.

The buildings and facilities were old, but it felt like Karuizawa, an old summer resort. (Good for relaxing) I think the food was good for the price. (Although it's not that luxurious) There are no shops nearby, so we recommend buying drinks etc.
