The owner was very kind. They took care of me when I was having trouble with the rain. It was very nice because the facilities were good and I was able to borrow pots and plates.

I stayed at a bell tent last year and it was great, so this year I went to a bungalow with a hearth hut that I was interested in!The manager was as friendly and kind as ever and was very helpful this time as well. There were no mosquitoes and it was a cool and comfortable night. The stars in the night sky were beautiful, and the manager explained the constellations to us, and even offered us some food items we'd like to try in Nagano ✨️🥹It was really fun ❤︎I'm planning to get together with friends and go overnight once a year, so I'd appreciate your help!

I visited on a weekday, so I was the only one staying. I was able to enjoy a peaceful time in nature. I was deeply moved by the warm welcome from the owner. The service was heart-warming as they even served us food.At the campsite, we got absorbed in talking about hunting and the outdoors with the owner, and before we knew it, we had so much fun that we had more fun than we had on the date. Since we chose to go camping for the first time, we had all the tools, and the owner even lent us pants and an electric blanket to keep us warm from the cold, helping us spend a comfortable night.I had a really enjoyable experience at this campsite, where the owner's warm service stands out. I would like to visit again from the bottom of my heart.

You are allowed to bring in food (you can also pre-order food), and each tent and bungalow has a 100V power supply, which is very convenient. It is essential to buy ingredients from supermarkets such as Chino City at the foot of the mountain. You can buy alcohol at a local store near the camp, but it closes at 6pm, so buy it early.Trash is thrown away at waterholes, but if you are a sensible member of society, I think you should take your trash home with you.Not having Wi-Fi is a charm when camping in the nature of the mountains (lol)There are two parking lots on the premises, which cost 500 yen a day, but many people park at the free lakeside parking lot, which is a few minutes' walk away.A water station (drinkable) and restrooms (flush) are also located within a 15-second walk and are in good condition.Naturally, there is no bath on the premises, so it is better to take a bath at a public bath located about 5 minutes walk away.I applied for the ``First Camping Empty Set'', but there was a BBQ area of about 4.5 tatami mats in the accommodation building, including LED lighting, a headlight, a sleeping bag, a hammock, charcoal (3 kg), fire scissors, tongs, paper cups, disposable chopsticks, and grilled meat sauce. etc. were included. They also set up a gas stove with a cassette fu.Fire starters are sold for 100 yen, but be sure to bring a lighter to light the fire starters. It is also convenient for BBQs to bring along a burner, fan, fire starter, used chopsticks for starting the fire, and mosquito repellent incense. The best thing was that there was a separate bonfire container, which provided a place where you could forget about the hustle and bustle of the city while burning wood for the bonfire (included in the set price). That was the best.

We were treated very well by the manager. This is a great campsite for casual BBQs and bonfires.I think there are many people who have their own tents due to the camping boom these days, but it was a very nice place where you could camp comfortably in a not-too-comfortable lodge. As the name suggests, it is based on the concept of a bonfire, and there was a camping table with an open fire in the middle of the grounds, where the manager was cooking. I have fond memories of being able to talk to the manager while sitting around the bonfire there.

First time doing camp in Japan ( Winter) . As someone from warmer place sleeping outside in the freezing cold is a little bit worry . But this place has a emergency shelter ( a cabin with heater) so in case of emergency you can sleep inside with no worry .Shirakabo with a lot of snow is beautiful , quite , making you one with nature .Recommend for anyone who want to relax quitely .
