I used it on a trip with my grandparents and 5 children. The four of us took the SL from Shin-Kanaya Station at 11:52 to the last stop, and one of us took a photo of the SL from next to the Kawane Onsen Hotel, then picked us up at the station and had lunch at the hotel. Enjoy the buffet from 13:00 and check in a little before 15:00. There is cold tea here as well, and it feels like a tea place. The steam locomotive slowly passes by the administration building. The cottage is a fully equipped cottage, and you can enjoy many drinks in the refrigerator for free. The best canned beer will make you forget your fatigue. And the gentle sounds of insects chirping outside helped me sleep like never before. I wonder what it was making... It was chirping gently and beautifully.

I use it every year.Previously, reservations could only be made by phone, so on days when reservations started during long holidays such as August, there were times when the phone connection would be disconnected for more than three hours.Now that reservations are made online, it's still easier to make reservations, but on Saturdays during the busy months, the restaurant fills up in about 10 minutes.I've stayed in everything from 4-person buildings to 8-person buildings, and the ones with open-air baths are the best.What I would like to see improved is the check-in time.The earliest you can check in is 4pm, so you'll be busy preparing for the BBQ.It would be helpful if you could check in a little earlier.Added August 2023Check-in is now from 3pm and check-out is from 11am to 10am.In addition, the check-in reception has been changed to the one-day hot spring reception, and payment is now made at the time of check-in.Added May 2024The price has changed.Previously, the price for an eight-person building during the busy season was 48,400 yen, but the price has increased to 77,800 yen since August.Even so, the place was almost full in about 10 minutes.Added August 2024This was my first stay here after the price revision.First, check-in was back at the administration building. Payment was made at check-in.This time I stayed in a 6-person building, and was told that it included 6 bottles each of tea, cola, water, fruit juice, water, beer, and tea sour for free.Although the price has gone up, it is still a good value for money accommodation.

I thought it was a non-smoking room, but it was a smoking room. The air conditioner really stinks. There's an irori hearth, so maybe that's the smell too?I don't think we need smoking rooms these days.I gave you some deodorant.

This is a lovely place to go if you just want some peace and quiet with life.This place is at the final stop of a heritage railway called oigawa tetsudo. The railway is absolutely beautiful and is quiet and it was a joy riding it.When I came to the place, i could immediately tell this wasn’t going to be luxury, although I didn’t stop to think that it literally in the middle of nowhere. So I checked in for my family and couldn’t believe how nice the people were at the place. And the rooms were even better. They gave us a lot of water, Pepsi and sushi and the rooms were very comfy. Also, our room had an Onsen! Does anyone else have this? Because oh my goodness it was nice.This place is a masterpiece and even though it’s in the middle of nowhere, I love this place and I highly recommend it.

On Saturday, July 13th, 4 people used the cottage.The hot springs are sourced and wonderful.★Guest roomIn addition to the hearth, there is also a microwave, IH heater cooktop, electric kettle, and all kinds of cooking utensils, so I didn't have any trouble cooking my own meals.There is no problem even if you stay for a long time.All rooms have air conditioning, heating and electronic mosquito repellent.Free wi-fi available. There is an outlet.There is an irori hearth, so I ordered yamame trout and sweetfish and grilled them slowly over charcoal in the irori hearth, which was amazing.In addition to cooking my own meals, I was also very satisfied with the food I bought from KADODE.Vegetables and bacon were fried in a frying pan with olive oil and served as a side dish.Hot springs are hot springs that come out when you turn on the faucet.This source is a little brown in color and seems to be darker than the hot spring facility next door, so please try it out and compare.If you stay at the cottage, you will receive a free ticket that can be used once on the same day or the next day.★ServiceThey were very responsive to my advance requests.I thought it was wonderful that the kindness of all the staff was evident in their various actions and responses.★PlaceI know that I can see the SL, but there is a roadside station next door, and there is a 7-Eleven and Welcia nearby, so I had no trouble getting food, juice, alcohol, ice, etc.Unfortunately, it was raining, so I can't tell, but I think the night sky would be beautiful on a clear day.There is a Kawane Onsen Hotel in Ariake nearby, and if you're two people, you might want to stay at a hotel, but if you're four or more people, a cottage is the best place to relax and relax.You can also have a barbecue so you can enjoy it.Finally, I would like to thank all the staff for providing us with the best location and time.I will use it again next time.thank you very much.
