I stayed there twice about 20 years ago.The scenery, quaint buildings, and baths were wonderful, and I remember being surprised by the amount of food I could eat.The funamori and the large gold eyes were also delicious.I would like to visit again and check my memories and answers.

Because it is a small inn, the hot springs were rarely crowded and it was comfortable. The staff were also friendly and made a good impression. Also, since it was served in the room, I was able to eat without hesitation.

Fukudaya is a Ryokan outside the small rural town of Kawazu on the Izu Peninsula. …

You can have a rare experience.Meals were served in a private room and the bath was almost private, so it was very comfortable. The hallways and rooms are cold. There are no shops or anything, so it's best to buy things to eat and drink in your room in advance. It is best not to open the area under the sink in the room.

It's been a while since I last visited, but the hot springs were still good. The owner's response is as expected from a long-established inn. I want to go again.

``From the highway, I went down a block of stone streets and stone steps and crossed a bridge next to a communal bath on the bank of a stream. Beyond the bridge was the garden of a hot spring inn.''It is difficult to rate this inn. For me, staying at the inn where the masterpiece was set, listening to the river, and opening a paperback book with a worn cover on the desk by the window was enough to make it worth it.
