I stayed there with my daughter. After climbing over a steep slope, we arrived at the inn, which had a beautiful view of the forest where we could hear the murmuring of the river and the ocean in the distance. The staff at the inn were very kind and accommodating. The two types of hot springs were also very pleasant. The food was amazing and delicious, and there was a play area for the kids, so I was very happy to be able to enjoy the meal in peace. Even the picky eaters ate a lot. The homemade Greek yogurt I had in the morning was a very tasty refill. My body was revitalized by the hearty food. This is a very refreshing and relaxing inn. I will definitely go again.

The other day, I stayed with my mother and daughter. It's located up the mountain from Izu Atagawa Station, and I was surprised to find a villa on such a steep slope. It seems to be run by a husband and wife team, and they were very courteous.I think one of the reasons I enjoyed it was that they were a couple with a lot of humor. Also, I made a reservation because I was drawn to the Mediterranean-inspired building, and not only the service, but also the food was delicious, and the yogurt and sorbet were all homemade. The bath was also nice. Both mother and daughter were very satisfied.I was injured on the day of my stay, and I apologize for the inconvenience.I will stay here again once my foot has healed.

The building is old and creaky, but we had a comfortable stay. The two types of hot springs are reserved by the hour, and since there were not many guests staying, they were flexible. Since it's a pension, it doesn't have the amenities of an inn, but there are various rental options. After all, it's food. Mediterranean cuisine with plenty of local produce. If you're tired of Izu's standard Japanese-style seafood, give it a try.

The only bad thing I'll touch on first is the location. It's difficult to use without a car, and the surrounding area is narrow and mountain-like, so driving after sunset is not recommended. Also, it's on a slope, so it can't be called barrier-free.Other than those difficult environmental conditions, I had a very comfortable stay.Probably both the couple at the hostel love children. My child was welcomed with a smile.Washrooms, toilets, and baths are shared. However, the baths are available on a reservation basis. The amenities provided in the room were a face towel and a toothbrush. The one for the kids was a towel with a cute panda pattern.Razors and cotton are also provided in the communal washroom. The bath was a cypress bath at night and a rock bath in the morning. It's relaxing because you can spend time with just your family.Large hot springs are nice, but hot springs like this that you can spend with just your family are also wonderful. The location overlooks the Atagawa sea from a high place, and the view in the morning was also great.I went for the breakfast plan without dinner, and the breakfast was homemade and delicious. The children also seemed to like the cold soup and drank it often. The yogurt I ordered as an option and the homemade jam on top are perfect for breakfast. There is a children's space at the end of the dining room where they can read picture books and play with toys.Overall, I thought it was a good stay.I didn't make the arrangements myself, but it was up to my wife to do it, but it's a good job.

It was a nice inn where you could see the view from the inn, the delicious food, the hot springs flowing directly from the source, and above all, the thoughtfulness. I want to go again.

I was able to stay for 13,000 yen per person, which included dinner and breakfast. It was a bit difficult to get there as it was a narrow road in the mountains.Meal times are fixed, so it's better to check in advance when you stay, as some people might find the portions insufficient at night. I was satisfied in the morning! There were 3 people in the room, so there were 3 beds, a small TV, and free Wi-Fi.There are set bathing times for the hot springs, but each group takes about an hour, so I didn't really care about the time. There was a choice between a cypress bath and a rock bath for the hot springs, and I took both at night and in the morning. The level of hot water could be adjusted by turning the faucet.Overall, I feel it was cheap. Thank you for offering milk instead of coffee in the morning, which was not on the menu.

Available on weekdays in November 2022.It's quite a climb up from the city center of Atagawa. It is said that the area above is where the villa area spreads out.A few days after I booked my stay, they sent me a route navigation and other precautions by mail (this was very helpful!). There are information boards that say "←Knossos" at important points on the uphill road from downtown Atagawa to the pension, but the pension looks no different from the surrounding private houses when viewed from the road, so be careful not to miss them. The parking lot is located under pilotis on a slope facing the road, and you can climb the stairs to reach the terrace of the pension. This time, our main goal was to visit the hot springs that flow directly from the source. This pension's cypress bath and rock bath (both sized for 2 to 3 people) are designed so that you can adjust the amount of hot spring water (approximately 60 degrees Celsius) and mountain spring water (no chlorine). I feel that I was able to get the full effect of the hot springs by soaking in the water at a lukewarm temperature of around 39℃ for a long time (repeating this several times with breaks in between). And a variety of Mediterranean-style dishes prepared by the serious and honest owner. Each dish was made with great care, and it was the first time in a while that I was able to enjoy a very high-quality home-cooked meal. It was also a fun time to chat with the friendly and friendly hostess.Although I only stayed for one night, I was able to spend some relaxing time relaxing my body and mind. The charm of this hot spring, the satisfaction of the food, and the hospitality of the owner and his wife are probably the reasons why it has gained so many fans.

I used it on a trip to celebrate my second daughter's 10th birthday. Each dish is carefully made using ingredients sourced within the prefecture. It not only filled my stomach but also my heart.I especially liked the antipasti. After the final sorbet, each child was given a birthday plate. It was a memorable birthday. The next morning's meal is as rich as a freshly made salad or cream cheese.Yogurt, fresh juice squeezed from oranges harvested from the tree in front of you,All of them were very delicious and you can only taste them here. The cypress bath at night and the rock bath in the morning were really hot.I will definitely use it again when I'm nearby.thank you very much.
